Greg, the 1st Gen. is shaping up nicely. Regarding the powder coat color for the Banks intake, I suggest you consider black with silver lettering to match the existing engine components (turbo, etc.) and the truck color (silver). Really eager to see it run!

As far as color goes, I say do a bright chrome powder coat on all the different components. Something like the same kind of chrome as the bumpers. I think there was a lot of chrome in the 80’s and 90’s, so it would suit the truck’s time period well.

Greg, I ha e the same D&J valve cover. Got mine custom powder coated also. Went to install and there's no oil or trans dipstick tube holders. I have a 15 with a stainless 2nd gen swap and a pusher intake. Your about to run into the same issue with the new 18 tow pig. D&J said I'm the 1st to have this issue, ok I guess.....how are you going to support your tubes?
