12 valve Cummins swap 49 Chevy pt.3

I have to be honest with you I've seen several of these trucks swapped on to an S10 chassis and it never looks right the track is too narrow.... Also you're planning on putting an 1100 lb engine on an S10 suspension..... I think you'd be money ahead define a half ton chassis or even modify the original frame with a better front suspension.... Just my opinion

@@mixrmandd well my options were a built 400m, a 6.9 turbo idi, a Nissan inline 6 diesel or this 12 valve. I think we both know I made the right decision 😂. I think the track width I’ve got with the s10 is money- I’ve got room to play with wheel choices, and yes she’s heavy but there are a ton of options for upgraded suspension. I have a couple 1/2-3/4 ton frames but the track width is way to wide and pushes the wheels 8” outside the fenders up front. To be 100% honest, I didn’t want to do anything with the 49 yet- my brother did and it’s more about the challenge and memories we’re making
