a man in my town had his left foot removed. his healthy, working, normal foot. ever since he was in his twenties, when he returned back from Vietnam, he _hated_ that foot and viewed it as something not a part of his body. he would try to cut circulation off at his ankle to kill the foot, and his wife found him in the garage one day with a saw, in the process of hacking it off. doctors were able to save the foot, but after reviewing the guy psychologically, and all his medical records (basically seeing that he'd seen a therapist and that didn't work), they opted to have surgery and remove this man's foot. he's a really great guy, super happy, and he wheels himself to the grocery store every week. his wife passed away before I met him, but he talks about her a lot.

Hair stops falling out during pregnancy making your hair look luscious and thick. After giving birth the hair that didn’t fall out begins to do so after birth. Hair loss eventually normalizes to pre-pregnancy levels. That said, as you age, the hair strands get thinner. You have the same amount of hair but it’s just thinner.
@allaboutmiri

That's what I wanted to comment also! Its so so true. We will have our thinn - before pregnancy - hair back after pregnancy and we are just used to 9 month thick hair feeling. After the hormons are balanced eveything will be fine.

Hormones play a role as well. You can lose more hair after birth than you should from hormone issues. Everyone is different. Always talk to your health care specialist and get everything checked.

@@ifyouknowyouknow6964 haha ha, you are right. sadly, hair has a limited lifespan. they simply live longer during pregnancy. I don't think you can keep them in your head all the time, even if you were to artificially administer pregnancy hormones. testosterone blockers like minoxidil help hair grow faster and thicker, you could use that too. but only after breastfeeding.

The struggle is real. Finding time to take care of yourself with babies is HARD. When my husband is home on the weekend I always do ALL the things I can't during the week and I just feel so rejuvenated. Sometimes I go through the whole week without finding the time to wash my hair. I have a 3.5yo and 2yo and they usually don't let me shower during the day, and I don't wash my hair at night. This video is so relatable. Also your little girl just made me miss newborn stage so much! 😭 Our second daughter is due on September 23rd and I just can't wait!

I did the same thing. After my pregnancies I now have pretty thin hair. Keep doing hair treatments and take take vitamins that help hair. I started taking itworks hair, nail, skin vitamins and they are amazing. My nails are alot stronger and healthier looking and so is my hair. It still falls out but my hair is much more healthier looking. It's only been like 3 weeks. Maybe over more time I will get better results. I'm sure there is other things too. This is just what I started doing.

Cutest baby! She is precious. So beautiful. Honestly, for me, holding and cuddling and looking at babies is one of the most relaxing, healing, mental health boosts there is. :) I adore babies, always have. As far as the hair loss goes, less is more. It is going to happen no matter what you do, and the more you do to your scalp right now, brushing, manipulating, putting products on, the faster the hair will fall out. It wont make any more hair fall out, it will just happen faster. Ultimately, there is basically a set amount of hair that will fall out, and before you know it, it will stop falling and start growing again. Make sure you are getting enough natural sources of collagen or take a full spectrum collagen supplement, and it will restart healthy strong hair growth before you know it.

I love this video so much. After 3 kids (oldest is 17 🙈🥴), 8 years of breastfeeding in total, this is so relateable. Its realy important to take care of yourself. Sometimes You can't even go pooping in silence, isnt it? So having a long shower, face mask, doing my nails, was always kinda SPA at home feeling for me. I love that You also talked about posture 👏🏻🤩🥰 I have to admit that I started to late with posture workout, after my youngest turned 6...so two years ago..because I was shocked after looking at some pictures, that my posture has changed a lot. I saw a hunched back, and I felt realy realy ugly. So I started doing posture workout as well. And while I am working on my laptop I always try to remind myself to sit propper 😅. So thank You for this video 🥰 I bet it will help a lot mommys out there (also with gaining confidence that me time is as important as the baby) PS: You and Your daughter are gorgeous 🥰 Kisses from Germany Miri ✨💜💌

I forgot to write something 😅🙈 I wanted to recommend something to you or everyone about hair loss. Even if hair loss is normal after pregnancy, because the hair lived longer during pregnancy and did not fall out regularly. barley grass helped me a lot. my mother-in-law suffered from circular hair loss due to stress. I thought she was going to be bald soon, if we can't find something. so I've searched the internet and I discovered barley grass. I first bought it in powder form. she drank a glass of mango or apple juice and 1-3 teaspoons of barley grass every day. after about 8 weeks the bald spots started to get baby fluff. now all places are densely overgrown again. I myself then started drinking barley grass and my own hair is much thicker and shinier, my hairline is deeper again. I have now switched to barley grass in capsules because I can't drink the pure powder with water well, but I don't like to drink fruit juices every day due to neurodermatitis. maybe you can try barley grass and see if it helps. but you have to hold out for at least 6 weeks, unfortunately with hair, it always takes a little time until you see effects. as with the eyelash serums too. But I recommend it 💜

For hair skin and nails in general, sprinkle black sesame seeds on your meals (has an ingredient in it my Chinese herbalist mom swears by for new mommas) and despite being younger, myself and older people I've spoken to have had great results with marine collagen. They come in liquid, power, casual or tablet form. Just choose a high quality product. Hair vitamin supplements are also awesome, just do some research! ❤️ 💋 I hope some of these might help you ❣️

We love you the way you are too Tina lol. Also, as a mom I know how hard it is to relax when baby does. You feel like you need to be productive during that time or things tend to fall behind. BUT you need to fight the urge. At least a few times a week when Lila is sleeping take a nap with her, watch some tv or just do something that’s relaxing. Trust me, this is a marathon not a sprint and giving yourself that time is going to help much more than cleaning the bathroom. Loved this video, just wish we saw a tutorial on the make up.

For the hair, the main reason why it could be falling out is because the hair is stressed, yes hair does get stressed, it's surprising but true. Number 1 is stop using a lot of heat on the hair, reduce the amount of heat you use on hair, try using heatless hacks to curl your hair if u want to curl it. Number 2 use coconut oil, coconut oil is so good for all hair types and a good example is the kpop idols u know those kpop idols who have long strong thick glowing hair? Where it looks like it's glowing and it basically looks thick? That's the effect of coconut oil, it makes your hair grow longer healthier it can even help with split ends, it's very good for hair and that's also how kpop idols get clear skin. Number 2 is spray your hair with water, now I'm sure your like "spray the hair with water? like what?" what I mean is get a spray bottle and spray a few times not a lot like very little then apply coconut oil. This helps keep the hair hydrated and healthy and the oil stays on your hair longer and your hair won't get dry so fast. I hope these tips help, BTW am such a huge fan 💜

Hi Tina, after I had my children my hair started falling out like crazy jus like u and it didn't stop even after yrs I started taking biotin supplement and using biotin shampoo and that worked wonders for me my hair went back to normal but of course everything needs time is not going to get better overnight I did that routine for about a month or so b4 I started seeing results then I introduced it to my friends who were going thro the same thing and they said it worked for them also. It's called nature's bounty biotin. They come in gummy form or tablets both works great but I personally prefer the gummies cos I don't like taking pills. The shampoo that I use It's called waterman's grow me shampoo and conditioner. Hope this'll work for u. Btw I love watching ur videos they r so uplifting. 😊

have you gotten your thyroid levels checked? it's common post-pregnancy for your thyroid hormones to drop and sometimes taking a TSH, which you'd wean off of and then get your levels checked again, can help. I have Hashis so I'm on meds permanently, but a lot of my friends had a TSH of 12 or 20, which is high, post pregnancy, and they weaned off after eight or fourteen months.

I feel that if you take the lower inner corners of your eyebrows (the arc part), it will look much better. You do that in some of your make-ups and it's very beautiful, it looks a bit masculine now. 😙😙❤️‍🔥

They don’t recommend brushing hair when it wet bc it becomes weak and can easily pulled off, but using a detangling brush will be much better

I also experience hair loss during postpartum and to be honest i had was much much worse hairfall what really help me was , not tying hair tightly u know not brushing hair backwards instead I brush my hair sideways, before going to bed I loosely tye my hair and massage with hot oils ones a week that really really helps I saw instant effects from hot oiling and I avoided heating products ,postpartum hair loss is temporary but if you r careless it is permanent bcoz ur hair follicles will become loose if not treated so these tricks helped me a lot I genuinly recommend u to try hot oil massages

with IPL devices, zap more sensitive areas (upper lip, armpits, bikini area) first, because the device does heat up and it can be more toasty on that skin.

Progesterone syncs up the individual hair lifecycles and they end up falling out at the same time. But that doesn't mean it's hair loss just a phase. Just wait it out and use some castor oil on your scalp.

Love the self-care. Even as a mom of a 2 and 3 year old, I always forget to take care of myself. I know not every mom goes through the same post-partum hair loss/growth, but my hair started growing back with a vengeance at about 10 months post-partum. So...hope? 😅
