Wig storage. Exactly what I've been wondering about! Now I'm inspired! You could also hang your wig hangers over a towel bar or closet rod. Install one in your closet, or even in full view in your bedroom--paint it to match, cover it with fabric, paper, decoupage it...or wind a garland of flowers around it, placing the wigs in-between. Storage is at a premium in my little apartment. I have a 4 drawer storage unit I found at Family Dollar that (barely) fits between the toilet and the sink I turn my wigs inside out, put them in ziplock bags, I use masking tape to label the bags, and literally stuff them in the drawers. When I pull out my wig all I have to do is shake it out and put it on. It's always a finger-sweep from being ready to go.

Being new to wigs I've appreciated all the tips and the opportunity to view wigs in different lights and on different heads. It makes a big difference to my confidence in choosing styles/colours. Great idears! I am just starting a collection and have 4. I like to put mine back in the GSW zip bag it came in and I also save my wigs name and price tag in the same bag so I can see right away which wig is in each bag. Right now I keep them in a tote bag neatly, not crumpled up or rolled up, and set that in a hall closet closest to my bathroom. Makes it easy to get to. Keeps them out of a moist place or hot sun. Thank you for the great videos. Did you do the paintings in the background. It looks like you and your right side and Danielle on your left :) Very nice art.

The glass vase - they come up to 12 inches tall and shorter when in stock. Also, they had a plastic bowl that I would glue gun to the vase. Glad you like it!

Hi Lisette, Rochelle here. Here are my suggestions: 1. Sleep w/ a satin pillowcase only, because the fibers will slide and not stick to satin. 2. If you must sleep with a wig, I would just use bobby pins or nothing to secure it; you don't want the metal clips to pull on your scalp throughout the night. 3. I wouldn't sleep in a wig every night; you do want time for your scalp to rest without the wig on. 4. If you're concerned that your partner won't like you without your wig, they may be the wrong one! 5. For romance, stay on top if possible. 6. @@GodivasSecretWigs The strange thing is that initially its difficult for a woman to accept having to wear a wig. But once you've been wearing one for a while, it then becomes difficult to live without it. All women want to feel attractive, especially to their man/husband. And as we know, many men tend to be very visual when it comes to women. But beyond that, when we have been wearing a wig for a while and looked at ourselves in a certain way with a wig, its difficult to see ourselves or let others see us without one. I guess its all about how we see and feel about ourselves.

As you watch the beginning of this video, at about 10 seconds in - we put the name and color in the top left of the video; as on this video too - This is Freedom in Nutmeg -F. The second place we always list every wig shown on each video is below the video; where it says "SHOW MORE" - This area includes all the names and colors and also the direct link to that item - as shown in this video. I have several of your lovely wigs and have placed them on head stands. But now I wondering if it wouldn't be best to put them in a box or lid container, as you showed in your video. My question is - given that a wig placed on a head stand is exposed to dust that circulates around the room, is it best to place them in a lid box in order to decrease dust expose. Or does it not matter (dust wise) if they are on a head stand.

Hi Lisette, great question! For wigs that I wear each week, i may keep them out on a head. I agree about the dust with you, that's why most of these ways protect the wigs from dust, etc. I like to turn my wigs inside out and store them in shoe or plastic boxes in my closet or under the bed. xo Rochelle

Thank you for your suggestions. I have now about 20 wigs and love them all. But I do notice that synthetic fiber can kink if placed in one position over time. How do you prevent that from happening? Also, turning the wig inside out down totally flatten the wig out on the crown? Seems like that could be an issue over time too.

Hi Debbie, Rochelle here! I can only speak about our wigs; their fiber and styles. There are many types of synthetic fibers - less quality than ours are more easily prone to bending and flattening easily. However, what you might consider is not storing wigs in a hot/warm place and also not fitting too many in a tight space. Another suggestion you might consider is brushing your wigs every so often if you're not wearing them for a while. And, brushing then in every direction sideways as well as up and back stops the wig from having a "memory" of just the the way the wig was laid for too long. Or, try wig heads for your favorite wigs. The machine teasing in our wigs doesn't go away - the brushing should help.

But I have discovered that that is a GOOD thing; I have such FUN with them, and I look better and younger and nobody knows except my close friends! If my hair miraculously grew back I would still wear wigs.

Hi Melissa, wow - I'm wondering why you haven't worn them. I think you had mentioned previously that you didn't want to purchase wig products. How about washing with your own shampoo (watered down to lessen the drying suds) and conditioning with watered down human hair conditioner, just to freshen them up? Yes, I always suggest to turn your wigs inside out when you aren't wearing them. They stay much better, especially when not worn for a little while. I vote keep the box they come in, invert them, and then you could always use the tote option you suggested to store the boxes with the wigs in them. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I’m anti zip lock bag, that’s just begging for static. 😉 ✍️ Edit: Correcting truncated sentence.

Hi Claire, Rochelle here! Don’t cut it yet!! Although I am not seeing the wig or the issue in person, here are my suggestions: First, brush it gently, even the kinky part and wash it with our “Keep It Clean” shampoo and conditioner. Make sure to use our “Keep It Sleek” conditioner because the back of your wig is dry, and this may help to soften it up. Once it’s dry, gently brush it out and see how it is. 2. Use our “Wig Lusterizer Pump” for extra conditioning and to make the fibers feel softer. 3. If the wig was smooth where it is now kinky, consider purchasing our “1” Hot Air Brush”. Watch the attached video to learn more, it works great! DO NOT USE ANY OTHER HEAT ON YOUR WIG OTHER THAN THIS BRUSH IF IT IS A HIGH QULITY SYNTHETIC WIG. Human hair we don’t carry, so I don’t want to address your kinkiness if it’s on a human hair wig. Otherwise, you may trim just the kinky pieces, but go slow and steady. Hope this helps you!

a great and inpensive wig stand that I have made is to blow up a balloon and then paper mache over the balloon. When it's dried, I pop the balloon and put the "Head over a wine bottle. Another one I tried was to wrap jute around a balloon covered in elmers all purpose glue. Once it's dry, pop the balloon and there is a cage like wig holder. clip pant hangers also work well to store wigs that are in plastic bags
