I’m pretty sure MJ was not the only player that was allowed to play pick up games. I remembered in the Last Dance documentary, WB had put in a basketball court by the Space Jam movie set for him and tons of big names player came and played pick up games with him while shooting the movie. I think the No pick up game clause is implemented in recent history… I guess most players nowadays are just not as passionate about the game as those old school players 🤷🏻
