Today, I’m reacting to a video posted by Christopher Rufo of a Florida father named Wendell Perez, sharing how his 12-year-old daughter was "transitioned" at her public school without his knowledge. He claims she was "affirmed" with a male name and pronouns, and alleges that the school’s actions behind his back contributed to his daughter's attempted suicide in a school bathroom.

That is horrible when they teach them not to trust their family In this case she apparently didn't think she could because someone else was teaching her she had to avoid talking with them. How is that going to help a suicidal girl? I understand when people file suit for a lot of money it is in an effort to teach them that they cannot go on as is and hurt the next person. It is a way to stop them doing wrong. Hope he wins big and that is daughter is better.

You can essentially guarantee that her "gender confusion" was not an organically occurring issue, but the result of indoctrination by a woke teacher. They convinced her she was suffering from "gender dysphoria", coerced her into "transitioning" and now act surprised when she attempted to take her own life. The school should be held accountable.

This reminds me of something that happened to a friend back in the 70's. He had started to only use black crayons when he drew pictures. The school called his parents in & told them that they wanted him to go on antidepressants & to maybe even be put into long term care. His dad asked if anyone had asked him why he only used black. They hadn't because they didn't think it was important. Trust us they said, we're the professionals here! Well, dad insisted that they ask the kid so they brought him to the meeting. The dad told him he wasn't in any trouble, they just had a question. The reason he only used black crayons to draw was.....(drum roll please!), the kid who sat next to him had eaten all his other crayons & he knew that they family couldn't afford new ones so he used what he had left. His dad smiled & asked him why the other kid hadn't eaten the black crayon too. Well, the weird kid had told him that black crayons tasted like licorice & he didn't like licorice! But if my friend's parents had just done what the school wanted without checking, think of the harm that could have been done. BTW- guess what happened to the crayon eater? Nothing! Because the school said that kids eating crayons is normal.

My oldest son just recently gave us our first grandchild and I remember his first year in school we got a call from his teacher saying she thought he had ADD. I asked why she said he wouldn’t listen and wasn’t paying attention in class. I told her to give me two weeks and we would talk again. The teacher would give what they called sticks and if you got so many sticks (marks) meant you didn’t do well that day. Everyday I would ask how many sticks did you get. He would tell me and I would spank him for it. And explain why. After two weeks the teacher agreed he was fine. It was the first time he was in that setting and didn’t know how to act. Now how many parents just agree and put their children on these drugs instead of just correcting the problem.

Tell your sister pronouns are reference words, for communicating, they apply to things not just people, and the only pronoun anyone is allowed to demand people use for them is their name. The pronoun that refers to each individual is their name. They/them are words that reference any person, they're for everyone, he/her are words that reference what your reproductive biology does, and zim zer don't mean anything to anyone so these people aren't really pro's at nouns. This/that/it are also pronouns. Feel free to call them "that/it" when they demand you speak their gibberish. And Don't worry about em, they're just dumb people who think they're special coz they're following a trend.

I pulled my 10 year old daughter out of public school last year. Within the first 2 months of school starting, she was saying she was nonbinary because her friend at school is nonbinary, and she had been stating she was practicing tying a noose. She's 10! I went to the school the very next day and pulled her into online school. When I was her age, I played with dinosaurs and ninja turtles, hated wearing dresses, was never a girlie-girl. I can't imagine the nonsense they would've filled my head with at that age. I've told her time and time again, "I dont care what you like or who you love, that is a personal decision. But you are who you are and that will never change". And he just said it right there! "We brought her home, gave her unconditional love, and brought her back from her confusion". Powerful. I did the same with my daughter, after just a couple of weeks of having her at home and me love-bombing the crap outta her, she no longer thinks she's 2 genders. I know we all remember the "its not a phase mom" stage of our lives, this is the phase for the younger generation.

I remember gay teacher's that never once mentioned their personal lives, they were coaxed repeatedly but never spoke about it once. Now, these wacko teacher's can't wait to get into the classroom to tell every personal detail about their lives to young kid's....it's probably because things shifted in the late 80s/early 90s where it was all about "expressing your feelings" so people now think everyone cares what they have to say and nothing is personal anymore. I was a very masculine girl and known as a tomboy. I was even mistaken as a boy in high school a few times. I have a feeling if I had grown up now I would have been convinced that I was trans. I had a very bad experience in my younger life and dealt with ED and extreme depression. I’m just grateful that my family was on top of things and my father more than once went to school to speak on my behalf. If I never made it past my teen years I wouldn’t have a wonderful son and grandson now. My son went to public school in the 2000’s when they first started not telling parents when things were happening at school. Again thankfully my son knew he could come to us with issues and I ended up removing him from the toxic environment in his junior year. Even with that he has had issues throughout his life. Now he is keeping a close eye on his six year old son and letting him know to always come to him and his mother and not keep secrets at school. I can only hope that the openness they have now remains through his life.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I think the kids need to grow up before they’re allowed to do these things. You emotionally mature so much during biological puberty & need to go through those awkward moments when you’re struggling to fit in and learn your place in the world. You need to grow up into a mature biological body before you decide it’s not for you. In some cases when transsexuals do not go through enough of a biological puberty, they don’t have enough development to sustain a medical transition. It’s definitely a cruel irony. You will be a much healthier adult, even if you decide to medically transition as an adult, if you’re able to face the reality of your biology rather than run away from it emotionally. I was blown away when I saw members of the medically transitioning transexual community advocating for patients to not disclose their biological sex to their medical team and arguing that there was no difference between a transsexual man and a biological man when it comes to things like blood work. I’m sure plenty of people disagree with my conclusions. Edit: Wanting what you don’t have, especially you’re growing up & being envious of it is very much something kids learn to cope with in a real way during puberty. I worry for kids going through this because they’re missing out on something fundamental to their emotional and physical development.

Teachers are suppressed to teach. They aren't parents. These teachers that assist a child in transition are the same ones that oppose abortion! It's in the same vein. Parents should be the ones that are in charge of their children. Teachers should stop trying to "help", they're hurting these children. It's child abuse!

@Somptuosité Candle The discipline regularly rotates schools as a ‘district’ psychologist/psychiatrist. Yet both the medical diagnosis and treatment psychiatrists along with cognitive diagnosis and therapy psychologists are completely compromised by woke ideologies. You would need to find Doctors graduated and practicing by the early 1990s but even then the required annual training (continued education) still corrupts them. It is no little thing, it took a court 2 years to strike down Biden’s order that anyone who did anything but confirm and try to transition gender dysphoria (at any age) would be criminally charged and loose their license, so by law or belief they are all corrupt.

Schools/ and group setting reinforce a collective mentality…any large group of people will all conform to the accepted standard of what’s currently “normal” and if “being gay” is on trend at school (I say on trend because young kids are still figuring out how they actually feel and their minds are easily influenced into accepting speculation as facts) , everyone will subconsciously shift to following that because all humans have the desire to fit in within the group and feel like they belong to the social collective….im glad you got a break from school and returned back to your normal self, when I was a kid our social trend at school was being a “mean girl” or if you are a boy, being a “jock/chad” it’s shocking how so many people who never even fitted those personality archetypes just took them on and embodied them at school, only in front of a group of their peers in order to look like they fit in with what was popular back then, but the funny thing is if you bumped into any of those kids outside of school or away from a group setting they were completely different people

I saw an interview where a teacher was told she had to keep silent if her student confided in her she was nonbinary, trans or whichever other thing it was. The teacher was not supposed to tell the parents, and she was in trouble with the school for doing so. Many people in the comment section don't understand that in many states IT'S THE LAW, that schools have to teach this. It's K - 12 in my state (believe me, I voted to get this law reversed). A kid can't just be a kid, anymore. They have to be indoctrinated with this "Which gender are you?" and worse garbage. If I had children, they WOULD NOT be going to public school. Now they are trying to sign into law this bill that says if the parents won't accept that their child is trans, the school can allow other agencies (without the parents knowledge) to help the child get puberty blockers and the reassignment surgeries. This is absolutely reprehensible. First, through the school curriculum they try to convince them they ARE trans, then they work to get them the "treatments" that reinforce it -- ALL without the parents knowing.

I really hate it when people use that excuse, especially as someone who grew up in a very unstable home. A lot of times kids and teens just won’t talk to parents about how they feel for a lot of reasons even if their parents love and care for them deeply (such as they feel embarrassed by their feelings, they don’t want to burden their loved ones, someone told them not to, etc). There isn’t a person out there who has told their parents everything or felt comfortable telling their parents everything. Not one.
@v25467
@v25467 Жыл бұрын
@@lucifernazaediyou are absolutely right, all kids keep things from their parents. However, I think there's some key behavioral indicators here that show that the child did have a healthy relationship with her parents & that this was something she was feeling pressured into by the school environment. Besides the obvious Freudian undertones of committing the act on school property, there's the fact that she was removed from hospital care and put full time into the parents home. (Obviously removed from school at this time as well.) It was only under their constant 24/7 care that she began to not only mentally stabilize, but thrive. If an inability to trust in the parents had been the issue in the first place, she never would have been able to recover under their care. As the father told it he was basically de-programing her, and you can't be de-programmed by someone you don't trust. So I think it's a logical conclusion to come to that if being trans was something she'd come to organically & felt on a soul level, she'd have eventually started to express this to her parents in some way, even if it's just dropping small hints & testing the water since she was already choosing to socially transition at school, especially since we know she has a healthy & loving relationship with the parents. After all, most parents when their kids comes out to them say that they aren't totally surprised & had picked up on clues here & there. Again, the father said she expressed zero signs in her home life, ever. The other half of it is the social pressure. I've been watching a bunch of testimonials from moms whose kids were pressured to socially transition elementary or middle school age and how they got them out of it. They all have a similar story pattern which matches this case too. Which basically is, for whatever reason the kid gets identified as trans, the school goes over the top in affirming, the kid realizes they've made a mistake, the kid doesn't know how to unwind it because all these adults are so goddamn enthusiastically affirming them and now they feel trapped and like they have to keep being the opposite gender even if they don't want to be bc the adults are constantly making it a point to single them out & smile & call them by their new name & make sure they know that they're welcome here & look they've already brought you a new boys uniform to wear free of charge & they've cordoned off an old room for you to change in every morning & they've already held a school meeting to remind all students about the anti-bullying policy & all these adults have gone to so much time & effort just for you so how can you tell them that you've changed your mind? & They seem so certain that you're a boy so maybe they're right? They are adults after all. &The entire school knows you've been a boy for six months so if you decide to be a girl again then what? Are you going to be bullied even worse? Will the school be mad that you're not a boy anymore & that you wasted everyone's time & call you a liar & expel you? I mean it sounds ridiculous to adults but to 12yrs old they don't have enough sense of identity/confidence to be like, please stop affirming me, this was a mistake. And then that's where the depression and confusion part really starts hitting. When they realize they've made a mistake, they've been socially affirmed by the school in a big way, & now they don't know how to get out of it, feel like it's such a confused mess that it's absolutely impossible to ever sort out. For every single one of them, when the parents pulled them out to the school & the previous social groups (lots also cut the kids off of social media if they were previously on them) and then placed them in a new school when they were ready, it was like flipping a switch. That was all they needed. They immediately went back to living as their bio gender at home and socially at the new school & the severe depression & anxiety basically vanished over night. They just needed that clean slate. & For those parents too, they had absolutely no idea that their child had been socially transitioned at school as there was zero sign of it at home & now years later in their late teens they're very secure in their bio gender. Unfortunately there really does seem to be a pattern developing of schools inappropriately transitioning elementary/middle school students, and then these students developing incredibly severe depression and anxiety when they want to transition back but don't have the tools to do so. Then add in the fact that this entire time the school has been actively teaching every single day that they SHOULDN'T be telling any of this to their parents, that it's probably dangerous & they wouldn't understand. Plus the fact that they're now also really really really embarrassed that they've been living as a boy for months when duh, they're obviously a girl & they realize that now, &they feel so dumb for having gotten something so basic & obvious about themselves wrong...how do you even start to explain that to a parent when you don't really even understand it yourself bc you're 12? All that just to say, normally, yes, I'd be right with you in saying that it'd be insane to blanket statement say that if she'd truly been trans she'd have told her dad that she was socially transitioning & that she didn't just supports the fact that all of this came about bc of the school's influence. Bc kids do keep things from their parents right? But the fact that she actually recovered & thrived under his care & went back to her bio gender, which cured her depression, and that the case as a whole is just so similar to other families experiences...I'm starting to think these cases are the one and only time where you can go into it assuming that actually usually the child would be confiding in the adult & the adult would normally be a stabilizing & positive force in their life. Which goes against the grain, I know. But over & over & over I keep hearing moms talk about how their kid was being taught at school that some parents might murder their children if they find out that they're trans so we need to protect you from them, they're dangerous, they're dangerous, they can't be trusted. They don't need to be told, it's not safe to tell them, only people associated with the school are safe to know that you're trans. If you start mentally or emotionally struggling you just come to the school counselor for help instead of your parents since they can't know about your "true self" and we'll take care of you, we can even give you antidepressants without your parents knowing & it's totally legal, you don't even need them. There's this wedge being driven between the parents & child that the school has created, intentionally or not, & by the very nature of what she needs their help with, wanting to socially detransition, being confused, just drives that wedge further in, muzzles her, but clearly she can't ask the school for help either bc they are only interested in affirming her as a boy... I can't imagine being 12 & having all that love bombing & progressive energy dumped on you, being the intense focus of all these passionate/political adults & knowing you've made a terrible mistake & trying to figure out how to go back to a normal life. The pressure from just that alone must have felt massive. I don't even want to imagine how the students were treating her too... Her dad seems really dedicated and thank God she's doing so much better now, but that whole family is scarred for life, no doubt. Makes you wonder how many vulnerable young women we're going to see destroyed by this ideology before the madness stops. My heart breaks every time I see a new story of a woman who has de-transitioned & is sobbing bc she'll never be able to breast feed, or hear about another athlete that's dropped the sport bc they're so discouraged competing against bio men, or listen to someone speak on how they only socially transitioned but it was bc they had been abused as a child and hated their body. And how as an adult they are filled with so much bitterness and regret and pain that people just affirmed their delusion instead of helping them heal from their real root trauma & that no one told them it was ok to just be a tomboyish girl, but instead let her hate her body for the past 9 years. Why did the people who were supposed to love her let her hate herself so intensely every single day and say nothing? Why did they all pretend that her becoming a boy would fix her PTSD and let her believe that too? & She's coming out of social transition as an adult & she's in pieces over it. Now we've kids social transitioning, the large majority of them autistic & female mind you, & we know there's a 90% they'll grow out of it, & we're not even going to give them a domestic support structure to help them navigate back from that? I swear, everything these days feels like one big social experiment, just chaos. Everyone's just plowing ahead at full speed with zero guard rails or seatbelts and no body seems to really give a fuck since so far it's heavily disproportionately affecting females in negative ways, not men. I'm exhausted.

Now I didn't go through gender dysphoria at the age of twelve/middle school, but I was SERIOUSLY depressed, bullied, and had one friend who ended up moving away halfway through the year. Wasn't suicidal yet, that came about freshmen year from other issues going on. But middle school was miserable and I'm so thankful that this whole mess wasn't popular or a thing when I was twelve because who knows how much worse my mental health and others could have been. side note: this was fourteen years ago and my life is on track and beautiful now (still get anxiety attacks every now and then ) but it took years of therapy and trial and failure to finally recover what I went through as a kid/teenager. Who knows what this day and time will do to affect this generation down the road . It's a scary time

These teachers should focus on teaching the basics like math, reading, writing instead of trying to be pseudo child psychologists with a degree from indoctrination university. Kids are confused all the time cuz hey they are kids. They should be supported and nurtured not affirmed. Affirmation of some things shouldn’t occur until they are mature enough to really understand their confusion and the consequences of their choices.

Let her know if she still feels this way as a person who has adequate experience of being an adult, and has considered all possibilities, that the option will still be there, however once down that road, there is no real way back. I mentioned it on another of your episodes that dealt with the same situation. I am ashamed of my former high school because in the last year alone the GSA (Gay Sexuality Alliance Club) has tried desperately to recruit "confused" teens into their program regardless of how they identify. It started with an afterschool program telling the attendees that if their behavioral patterns and personal pursuits fit within these parameters they were indeed LGBTQ+ material. Mind you they kept these parameters as broad as possible to trap as many as possible within their (GSA) logic and assumptions. There was public outcry but they did not even receive a slap on the wrist. Several months later the same group used school funds to hire "Professional Drag Queens" to perform at the school. Again public outcry but no punishment. The school even went on to validate future actions were allowable as a recognized school program with Title IX protections. I will never understand how programs for the arts and even some school sports get defunded while things like the GSA not only receive financial support they get protection from closure as well.

Not support by indulging in their delusion. Just having someone to talk to and feeling secure. And that should be expected. Can you imagine the amount of pressure that would be created for a 12 yo by transitioning her in school and keeping it from her parents as a secret? When children are abused, some of the trauma is from the abuse itself and some is from intense anxiety about people finding out, of feeling that their parents will know and be disappointed, of feeling they they have done something wrong, etc. I would go as far to say that by not telling parents the school has actively increased the risk for this young persons, who would have felt they were lying to their parents and felt alienated from their family. I work regularly with suicidal adolescents and this is such poor safeguarding practice.

What we’re not going to do is act like parents aren’t abusive…. If a child knows what they know about gender identity and the parents don’t know, that’s on the parents for not paying attention to their child. Being respectful isn’t that hard when it comes to using someone’s pronouns. Also you don’t get to decide someone’s choices or thoughts, you don’t know what they know.
@ShrekIsLoveShrekIsLifee
@ShrekIsLoveShrekIsLifee 2 жыл бұрын
@@dailathanduha8696 i never acted like the parents aren't abusive. Their could possibly be something going on. But how is it on the PARENTS for not noticing what is going on with their kid's gender identity? I'm not sure if you watched this full video, but the school quite LITERALLY, on purpose, kept what was going on with that girl AWAY from the parents. It's the equivalent to what I wrote earlier. Also how am I deciding someone's choices or thoughts? It is not normal, nor common for someone who is a minor to experience gender dysphoria. There has been a significant growth in the LGBT community throughout the gen-z generation. It isn't normal. Also, since this big LGBT boom happened, more suicides, and de-transitions have occurred. Basically what I'm saying is that there is a high chance the child I'm talking about sees it as some sort of lifestyle or trend. It shouldn't be kept from the parents, but if there REALLY is a situation with this girls parents I feel like she should've sent that information via email instead of share it with the whole class. I have had some pretty rough days as a kid. I never was open about it in the classroom. I was never proud of it or owning it. I told one friend about it who soon eventually told the guidance counselor and the things at home stopped. I feel like most trans people who have had experience with gender dysphoria will most probably never feel comfortable when it comes to being open about a very personal, and crippling mental disorder. (Anyways sorry for the lengthy paragraph, but yeah i agree with you half and half.)

Story related to this topic; I have depression, anxiety, ocd, PTSD, body dysmorphia and ADHD. When I was young and dealing with being traumatized (before being diagnosed with anything) I wanted to transition. I was a child struggling with body dysmorphia/gender dysmorphia and this lasted from around 10 years old until I was about 24-25 years old. (When I was going through puberty and my body was changing, look at that) But I didn't know that until I was about 16. 16 is when I started talking to a professional who diagnosed me with body dysmorphia and other issues I was dealing with. I would dress and act like a boy, tape down my breasts and went by a different name and that morphed into a gender fluid type of identification as I got closer to 19. Now I'm older, 27 about to be 28, still healing/having struggles now and then from mental illness. (Keep in mind I don't like prescription drugs so my healing journey is a natural one) I still struggle with dysmorphia but in lower amounts and I understand to some level it's happening because it normally also comes with a wave of depression or if my trauma response is triggered. It now comes in waves every few months and I do a body positivity and affirmation in the mirror when that happens (training my brain out of those feelings). I rarely struggle with gender dysmorphia now and I am beyond happy and relieved I didn't transition when I was younger or messed with my hormones more than they already were. I understand the uncomfortableness, wanting to literally rip your skin off and have your body match how you feel. I understand feeling like your just wrong unless you alter your body. I understand the need to transition for some people and if you're an adult whose talked to a professional and started a healing journey and really looked into and thought about what you're doing that's great, do it, live your best life. I don't think children should be exposed to more confusion in a confusing time in development/their life. Seriously kids don't know better, their hormones are everywhere. Our brains don't stop developing until in our twenties. I feel like I still don't know better most of the time but I know more now than when I was 16 wanting to medically alter my body. It would have been a mistake and I'm glad I had the guidance I did. I love my body now, I love being a woman. I still have a masculine energy sometimes (as we all do) but it doesn't make me want to crawl out of my skin anymore. Now I've accepted that I am who I am and I can dress however I want, do my hair whatever I want and i don't care how people see me. I'm exactly the way I was meant to be and I'm beautiful the way I am. That makes me comfortable existing as I am. If the schools want to talk about gender in school keep it to health class biology in middle or high school and talk about mental health accepting yourself the way you are. Affirmations. Meditation. Positive self talk. Leave the identification, sexual conversations to the parents/guardians where they need to be. It makes me so mad the school knew and didn't tell the parents

It makes me so happy to read this. I never suffered to the extent you describe but I too would have loved to be a boy. I remember being 17 and there was a case on tv where they put a child on hormone blockers because he was unsure of his gender so they just blocked it untill he made up his mind. I was eating with my parents and I remember telling my dad that was disgusting. How are you supposed to make up your mind if you don't know what anything is like? I am a woman and happy to be one but if I had the chance to stop everything at 13 I would have done so. Not because I don't like what I am but because I didn't know what I wanted to be at that time. Now if growing up Inhad found out being a woman didn't suit me I would have changed. But how can I decide if I like or dislike something when I haven't experienced it? We keep telling children taste it before you decide you don't like it with one out of thousands of foods. But with such a life altering decision it's you never tried anything but decide now. I am happy you are feeling better now and that you waited. I hope the bouts of depression will go away. Keep doing the body positivity - the happier you are in your body the happier I will be for you.

Thankfully my mother reassured me and after a conversation where my mother explained why I was a girl I felt secure and happy and I had no further insecurities.
