Hi Mark, I have almost all your courses, including the two groove courses. The 25-groove challenge practice section is another fun and great resource. The issue I face when going through courses like this when to move on and leave some behind or creating a program cycle daily or weekly to cover them all. They all hold value and obviously you can't practice all of them every day. Same with the technique course, etc. For me even if I get to advanced grooves or techniques there are prior ones that still have tremendous value. How would create a practice program without burning yourself out or not forgetting them etc. Thank you

I’m going to make a free course on the site detailing how to create a practice plan.

Hi, I just got his Slap course and am moving through it really slowly, not moving on until I can play the exercises of the current step comfortably and perfectly for at least 10 minutes. To practice this I just go through it as he's teaching it on the video then do about 10 minutes by myself really concentrating. Then later that day I'll do those same exercises again really concentrating for another 10 minutes. After a couple of days I can do it while watching something on KZbin and just do it for an hour or so. After that I'm usually ready to move on to the next step. Take it slowly and get it perfect before you move on. That is the key.

Depends how much time you have and what your goals are. Nowadays, we have too many resources so we are paralysed by choice. I try to split my time across the following: note finding right hand warm up left hand patters warmup rhythm training intervals triads approach notes scales repertoire (either pieces of etudes)

Hi Mark! This seems to be the best way to get in touch at the moment. Do you have an idea when the site will be up again? I’m sure a lot of us have been eagerly waiting for it to come online again. ❤

I love these videos! I just bought Cyborg and I looked for one called 120 Grooves but didn’t see it. I guess I’m confused, I’m assuming this video is a promo for that course. How can I get the other 119 grooves? 😂❤
@talkingbasslessons4 ай бұрын
@@tonyserzo it’s not the Cyborg bass books. It’s the Groove Trainer course.

@@talkingbasslessons He's referring to the title of this video. I think you should change it and let Josh keep his "trademark".

@@talkingbasslessons ha! didn't expect a reply, just messing about, of course. I thought the colab interview video you guys did was great. you're both fantastic teachers, and I've learned so much. thank you for what you do and wish you continued success.

@@SidSomething it's just a silly title, i don't think the phrase "beginner to badass" is copyrighted lol. that being said, the course is awesome.

It feels to me like this is a great point to continue where Josh’s course leaves us. The price seems reasonable, so I think I’m going to have a go at it…

To be fair, that’s a pretty common phrase. I didn’t even consider it until after release.
