Great videos! Very respectful to the animals in each video. Someone let grandpa know that Stingray leather is very valuable and is used in high fashion (boots, shoes, jackets, belts.) Manta Ray leather likely sells for even more. Not sure what they did with the Manta Rays skin from this video but if you catch another one look into selling the leather. Lots more money to help the handicapped. Love the work you're doing! God bless you.

That particular skin is prohibited in a lot of places so one must be cautious… Thailand is one place where it is allowed but many European countries do not allow it. I think the skin here was removed in a way that producing leather would not be feasible also.

Depends on the species of ray. Some ray skins are smooth with no grain at all, most valuable ray skins are rough that’s why they are valued to make grips on knives and katanas.
