I subbed. Just got my 2.3 L 4 cylinder, XLT in October, live in Minnesota. Haven't had a chance to use the 4X4 in snow yet but I did go on a logging trail in 4 high a few weeks ago. So far I am liking it a lot. Retired, so this may be my last vehicle, unless I want the V-6.

Out of all the midsized trucks I think Ford has the best drivetrain along the entire lineup. If they didn't have the 2.7L v6, i'm sure i'd have been completely happy with the 2.3 (although may have found a way to disable the As/s).

A week ago I got a 2024 with the V6, XLT-High, FX4, and basic towing. I really didn't care about the advanced tech package since XLT-High gives us the power seats and dual-temperature controls. I am thrilled with my choice of the Ranger in general and specifically the V6. I wasn't planning to get the V6 but the salesman found one available for a dealer trade that was equipped like I wanted. The 2.3 four-cylinder is "fine" but the 2.7 V6 is awesome. I already upgraded the tires to BFGoodrich KO2's. Interesting detail if you are considering a Lariat: According to TireRack the Lariat tire size does not have any off-road all-terrain tires available. None.

I think you'll really be happy with that setup. I got the tech package primarily for the adaptive cruise control (in my last vehicle it was one of those things i was surprised i liked so much; i knew i needed it again) and have been very happy with the other tech it came with. I really like the 360 camera!

@NARoutdoors
@NARoutdoors 2 күн бұрын
I don’t think shipping it would increase towing. It was definitely not a priority when I ordered the truck tho. For me I knew I wanted the locking dif (a stand alone option) as well as some underbody protection (after market options exist). Bonus for my kids were the running boards which may come off as they get older. It also includes some software tech in the center display as well as trail control (surprisingly nice for low speed gravel roads. It’s like using cruise control but at 5-10mph).

I'm waiting on Ford to do some updates on the options availability. I'm used to heads up display and ventilated seats on my current truck and when they offer these two options, I'll make a trip to my Ford dealer to see what kind of deal I can get. No vents for the rear seats is a bummer, why wouldn't they have thought that people will be riding in the rear seats.

I got rid of my 23 Tremor lol. I couldn't stand the vibrations I was experiencing. They admitted that the vibrations existed and that they could feel them but said there was no fix. Said it was characteristic of all Ranger Tremors, which is complete BS. Selling a $45k that has issues when brand new should not be acceptable.
