Hi Keith, I've had the Deus I now for 10 plus years. Copper usually comes in between 91 - 95 on my machine. Have a great Christmas and all the best finds for 2023

All I can say is that my Deus I configuration is - the hot programme with the white 9" HF coil and my "copper" coins come in around the high 80's, except for the copper farthing I found in this video coming in bang on the 70 mark. All my "copper alloy" buckles come in at high 70's to high 80's. Have a great Christmas and a finds filled 2023. Keith

Morning! Mystery object looks like a thumb plate for a walking stick or potentially the bottom plate for protection

Hi James, thanks for watching and commenting re the mystery object. I initially wondered about it being a cane ferrule of some kind but ruled it out. Purely on the reasoning the any walking cane or swagger stick would have to have been extremely thin (much thinner than your little finger) so I thought that unlikely... but I defo see the reasoning behind that as a possible use.
