A tip with the coloring books is to photo copy pages so all the kids can color pictures they want. Also so many free coloring pages online you can print too which is lots of fun

I think teaching the children about unit prices would be a great idea. Also, GV has a 12-pack box of yogurt with strawberry and peach flavors in it. Oh my goodness, getting a second cart while shopping would be ideal for a tired child and the groceries that might get smashed, like bread, chips, cereal, etc... lol Just a suggestion, because the last thing I like to do after a day of shopping is cook, putting something in the crockpot for dinner might be an idea for use in the future.

Amazing to see all the food it takes to feed a large family for a month , if that ! My groceries are for just me , and as I was putting them away Friday , I was thinking of the poor children in Gaza that are without any food right now . Made me sad , but I guess all we can do is pray for them and for pease ASAP , and keep our own mouths fed , the best we can .

Do you ever shop at Sam's Club or Costco? I was noticing some of the things you bought multiples of. Often you can get bulk items and it would save you money and you can get larger amounts. You and your kids do an amazing job though. Do you guys have a garden?

$1200 That's a big grocery bill.... Costs keep going up. Takes 2 incomes these days to make ends meet. We both have college educations I am a pharmacist, make good money, but, economy is hard on families that don't have enough.... Thankfully we do and we praise God for all the resources we have to make a living, it takes 2 incomes these days, especially with kids Saying a prayer for those who struggling to make ends meet 🙏✨
