SHOPPiNG HAUL FOR IZZY’S 18th BiRTHDAY PARTY x 2 🎉😉

When it comes to birthdays, I have quite a few traditions, one of them is we go shopping not only for presence, but to get all of the decorations for the party so we can decorate that night when the birthday boy or girl goes to bed.
We also pick up their favorite candy to put around the table and around the cake. And we grab their favorite drinks to lay on the table. When the kids were little, I would also grab their favorite cereal and that would be a present or maybe a treat that we don’t normally have we would make that a present.
Some of my kids still love cereal so we do that, but normally when they turn 18, we get them one nice present and then they get just kind of regular presents and then we also throw some treats together.
I decided to start making my kids cakes because I’m sick of paying huge amount of money for cakes to be made for us. So this is my third cake that I’ve made homemade and so far my kids are absolutely loving it. And it’s bring him back so many memories from when my kids were little because I literally made them their cakes until they became young adults.
I have made probably close to 100 homemade cakes for my kids from the first birthday. We had them until like four years ago because I just got so tired. Being a mom to eight kids intends to wear you down, but I am trying to bring back all those old traditions and add to our new tradition.
