In memoirs of a SSman from Norwegian legion: he says they were given one of these but it was a curse as they had nothing at that stage to move it quickly with. He said smaller mortars were much preferred.

Actually, it's not. As alluded to above, Soviet mortars are French designs copied from imported weapons. Yes, Germany did use captured Soviet mortars but they weren't Soviet weapons from the start.

wich is a russian weapon from the start ,Germany used captured weapons and later copied the weapon , so not really german

I swear, all I hear is how EVERY weapon or plane is a copy of a Russian version. Morar....RUSSIAN! Flying wing....RUSSIAN (even though the UK had one 13 years before "Russia" was even an effing country.

it is different, the German one was A MORTAR the Russian one 120mm was a cannon because it was fired with gunpowder
