The best proper explained video thank you. One more thing I would want to understand is if bid a ask price has a big difference for example bid is $1000 and ask is $58 what does it mean as a stockholder?
@englishnewschannel4751 Жыл бұрын
its weird if someone want to buy it for 1000$ and seller are selling it for 58$

Also an add-on to this video, it's not showing in that candle chart but the bid/ask lines you have to pass before you can make profit, some markets are bigger then other so the lines will be further apart from each other so in short if you make an order at a 1min chart it might take you 10-15 candles in the direction you are hoping for until you actually can make any profits and by that time the market might change direction, so it's better to look for a more "calm" market then those big ones usually.

correct. Stocks with tighter spreads are much safer/easier

@@1215DayTradinghey im completely new to this, but isn’t this Apple example considered a tight spread? Its just a few pennies difference.
@1215DayTrading Жыл бұрын
@@George72632 yes. When the spread is only a few pennies or less then it’s considered tight which is better than a “wide” spread

So if am correct, sellers make profits when buyers buy at ask prices and make losses when they sell at bid prices?

Can i sell more than the best ask price?
@1215DayTrading4 жыл бұрын
You can place a limit order to sell for more than the best ask but it won’t get filled unless someone buys your shares

Okay, what if you have more buyers than sellers? who then are you buying from?
@1215DayTrading4 жыл бұрын
Renee Brown you are still buying from sellers. It’s just when the demand is higher on the buy side, people will buy on the ask causing the price to increase
