I know that Ste isn't without sin but I think he had every right to be as angry with Noah as he was. He knew first hand what Brendan was capable of, it's worse for him since he actually loved Bren, and Noah just wouldn't listen to him. And like Cindy said, Noah is human but Noah is the one who sells himself as a saint so you can't blame Ste for buying it. The boy takes people at their word/face value and it always comes back to bite him in the ass. At least now Noah has first-hand experience of his own what it feels to be like on the receiving end of Brendan's manipulation. I love Brendan but I really hate when he plays lord and master and damages Ste's already fragile self-esteem. Ste is trying so hard to resist temptation and stay on a happier healthier road, even if Noah is absolutely the wrong choice, and Brendan being all high-handed about being able to mess with him whenever he wants is basically telling him that his efforts are futile. He may not be hitting him (right now) but the psychological and emotional abuse are still very much in play.

Do I want to see Ste happy? YES. Absolutely . I just want and need it to be with Brendan. The writers know that Stendan is their ace here so...they just need time...JPC took like two years right? I was so happy Ste dumped Noah but then turns around takes him back why why.Because just to prove to Brendan he didn't win.Ste doesn't love Noah his using him to get over Brendan or to even piss of Brendan.But in the end Brendan gets the last word.Ste allways thinks his clever but Brendan does back to him again.I loved what Brendan told Ste he can mess with the both them anytime he likes.This so not over anytime soon more drama to happen.Also Noah mentioning Brendan kids that made B mad.

I admit that I wish the actor playing Noah was better, but like the character and even messing up with Brendan doesn't change my opinion of Noah. He's good for Ste, and now things may become clearer and hopefully better. Their relationship always seemed one-sided with Noah loving Ste and Ste needing to be with someone, anyone, who's opposite of Brendan. Hopefully that will change and they'll be more equal in what they feel for the other.

Can't explain it Emmett just makes me enjoy watching psycho Brendan.Noah's personality has always been stuck up with those mean looks.There is nothing about him to like.Ste and Brendan have a love hate relationship and Noah is a joke for any kind of relationship.I'm sick of seeing that gap and those eyebrows raised up.

@TheJANICE456 Uhm... love and equality across the board in the McDean relationship? There was even a bit of punching as I recall and plenty of verbal abuse on and off. I am not saying it is the same as the abuse between Brendan and Ste, but I think it would be wrong to candycoat either relationship. Craig and JP got a sunset ending, but they went through quite a bit to get there. It wasn't always sunshine and rainbows, and personally I think JP put up with plenty of mental abuse.

@brken i don't think it's brave to say what noah said, the exact opposite, actually. to use brendan's insecurities about himself and his sexuality against him by saying that he let his children down is horrible. imagine being a gay man in a straight marriage, and finally breaking out of that shell, fully aware that it is going to hurt his relationship with beloved children, that is not easy. using that against him is just low.

Craig and JP had quite a bit of angst, but not the true darkness that I find so compelling in the Brendan and Steven storyline. I must admit though I am a sucker for karmic redemption tales so my personal investment is higher for Brendan and Steven and it continues to drive the possible delusion that this will indeed come to pass. :)
