People ask why Blair would later tell Todd that Max was the father of her baby. To me, the answer is right here. Blair has said it numerous times and Kelly, too: Mistrust. Fixing the results of a betrayal this profound will not automatically fix the trust that has been broken!! She never knows when he'll go nuts. He has an impulsive, sometimes irrational temper. And he shows her here that he is very willing to betray her, even send her to jail for many years simply out of jealousy. He also keeps Starr from her and has kidnapped Starr before. She may have been testing his love at one point, also due to mistrust in his love, but she has said repeatedly that she was fearful he would take Jack. This particular treachery/betrayal really sets the stage.

Which wedding do you all like the best? This one Todd and Blair or Franco and Carly (GH) or Paul and Rose (ATWT) all the grooms were portrayed by Roger... my fave and most chilling wedding was Paul and Rose's the bride collapsed and died after Paul's outburst...

Easy all 3 of their weddings & i love for decades tnb kept the theme of the gold baloons & loved their 3rd wedding where todd wore a gold tie & blair looked flawless her dress w/ fabric of gold throughout her off the shoulder dress.

God, Todd & Blair are so bad for each other but they still "love" each other. On The UK Soap Opera Eastenders there's Sharon & Phil. No matter whom they are married to, sleep with, or date they always find their way back to each other.

Todd is a tortured soul and Blair has a whole set of issues, too. Just as you mentioned, though, they always find their way back to one another. Its a twisted kind of love at times but it's intense and it lasts through to the end of Todd's story.

What a bunch of hypocrites!!! Todd was right how he told the truth which is what " Sam " is always preaching. Same w/ viki ! Viki has been Renee's very closest friend for many years & family as they were in laws & she keeps from Renee the re identity of her son for her latest husband Ben! Please if she tries the excuse it wasn't her secret to tell she immediately told Clint that cord was his son right after Maria confessed to her in anger. She did this at such a horrible time too. Her & clints baby daughter Jesse was missing so he had enough stress plus she knew her new brother in law cord had no idea obviously & she was already very fond of cord. I'm also pretty positive that she also told him Asa knew. ( I'm not sure if Maria told him the whole story about Asa or viki only Said Asa knew & Maria expanded on why but I could swear remembering viki said Asa knew cause I distinctly remember him saying " paw knew " if Maria revealed Asa knew I feel like he would have said " Asa or my father knew " as viki had been married to Clint & knew him for many years at that point & was used to Clint saying pa all the time ) either way viki told that major truth knowing how much Clint would be heartbroken he'd just found out he lost all of cords childhood. That he had waited so long to have a child of his own & learning he had one for soooo much lost Time. Again I get its her new husband's secret but Renee would be wrecked all that time not knowing. Also didn't she see how much this would hurt bo that she still considered him family knowing him all these years was her former brother in law & was family still in that he was Joey Kevin & Jessica's uncle & had known them all since they were baby's. Or how hurtful it would be to Clint as well not knowing he had a real brother there or how it would destroy the long friendship max had w/ bo as well. They were super close when max was dating his sister in law megan & welcomed him on board as producer of fraternity row & kept him there as like another producer when he returned to his job after he was cleared of the murder charges. Glad max got that smug look off his face when he was loving Todd exposing Blair & himself. The nerve of max asking Nora to even be his lawyer. I'm surprised she wasn't mad at max too. Even though she's not married to bo here she still cares for him & Asa who was her father in law. Asa actually really treated Nora the best out of all his daughter & granddaughter in laws. He even covered her lie about sleeping w/ Sam & when Nora was pregnant & Asa thought the baby was Sam's he stood behind her & he even told her no matter what happened w/ her & bo when she was starting to show he hugged her & said of course he'd love her & her child even if the baby wasn't his grand baby.

How well viki knows her baby brother " i know ur enjoying urself now but u will regret it later" if todd took vikis advice so many times he would have been happier & when she pushed ( like forcing his first visit w/ starr when he wanted to leave town) also he does regret this right away once he learned blair was drugged he was willing to take the blame even going to nora! Lol to represent him to turn him in. He was willing to die to get her clothes back. If only he told viki he saw blair & todd in bed id hope shed convince him to tell blair what he saw. Blair & him could have put their heads together to figure it out. She told todd she & max toasted she also could have told todd she woke up w/ a blackout. Instead the writers sadly went this route. I know the truth about skye had to come out but maybe another way where it wasnt todd blowing her spot up. Also the stupid plot of blair lying max was the dad. For months it wasnt about fearing todd would take the baby she wanted todd to pass some dumb test where he could prove he loved her by loving maxs baby?? How stupid when it was Todd's. Then todd tells her the baby dies. Todd loved kids. I cant believe it was true to his character to literally tell that midwife to get rid of an innocent baby & tell david he didn't care what happened to the baby saying " i don't care good home bad home band of gypsies" i get how much he hated max & him calling him a loser & bragging blair was having h8s baby plus max blew up his 1st marriage plus max tried to frame him for murder by using blair to dig up or plant evidence & again they made blair dumb as she & todd were finally getting along she was spilling things todd confided to her. He also tried to help blair after she lost starr to help ian steal his paper! He also blackmailed todd w/ that tape admitting he was faking d.i.d to sign over the sun to him. So some people say they get him freaking out about max tied to blair forever plus it was a son , something tnb dreamed of in 95 when blair told him she believed they were having a girl & he said so the next kid will be a boy were fertile. So sweet. So thats another reason he was near tears that it was a boy to top it off.

It's cool the lengths Todd was willing to go to in order to fix this for Blair! Unfortunately, the original betrayal of trust is still there between them and a large part of why she lied about the baby. She knew he could readily betray her again! Very soon after this he actually DOES betray her again when he conspires with Gabby and Asa to frame her for "murder". Plus he keeps Starr from her. Added note: Blair did not test him for months. That testing period was dumb but far shorter. She did speak, through the whole pregnancy, about her fear of Todd taking Jack.

There may be people who "get" Todd freaking out but freaking out is not the problem. It's the WAY he freaked out that's the problem! He risked the life of a tiny infant ("Just get rid of it.") and told the woman he loves that her baby had died when he had callously given it away. Todd's an adult and has free will. He chose that particular course of action out of many possible choices he could have made.
