Hello Rhona I am pleased you enjoyed Shona singing Drumdelgie, was at Drumdelgie a year ago its pretty run down looking place now and sad to see,and a lot of it has been planted with trees,I trawled the enternet looking for old photos but struuggled to find any

Thank you for your nice comment ,yes this was taken from Paul Anderson's cd made for His Majesty's Theatre production of Sunset Song Shona also sings Drumdelgie on her own cd Short Nichts and Lang Kisses

One of my favorite pastimes is to look through old pictures, so I really enjoyed these. What a strong accent...totally different from Irish or British English.

Hi Francsca the singer is Paul's wife Shona ,and the accent is from the north east of Scotland's which is called Doric. Drumdelgie was a large farm near Huntly and farmer was a very hard man
