I bought the Vled V3 Tritions for $180 and I will say that the price was worth it because they are still going strong with no issues after almost 6 YEARS!!! So I will gladly pay $125 for the V6 once these go out buuuuut... it might be a while! lol

Would be cool if the switchbacks have a dimming feature like modern car daytime running lights. I like having drl's but also don't really want to blind people with it since turn signal reflectors don't have cutoffs.

Only if you change the rears to LED. Load resistors just simulate the stock bulbs. If you have stock bulbs, no load resistors needed 👍

Nice comparison dude, I appreciate the honesty! I wonder how the VLEDs compare to the GTR Carbids though, that's what I have in my work van and I have a hard time believing anything is brighter than the turn signal on those 3157s, they're like a freaking flood light XD

@@luisamoa2500 What do these lights have to do with a retrofit? These are switcback leds, white mode as DRL with dimming option and amber for signal, not headlights. Btw I spent $1,500 on a retrofit in supplies. Later.

Although this is bright, halogen bulbs field is brighter. Led seems like certain areas are bright but not the main field

There made for DRL and turn signals. The halogen u referring to is incandescent bulbs. Led will always be brighter than incandescent bulbs

Bright is good, but there is a limit... Is it really a good idea to mess up the eye sight of people driving up behind you ?. The use case i can see for these bulbs in heavily tinted lights only.

Parking lights are mostly older cars, DRLs are the newer cars mostly. Anyways it’s basically the same thing

I love that I can twist on the base connector and the load resistors, which is all black with M8 connectors, waaaaay better than having red T-Taps and blue connectors on a big gold load resistors. For sure, many people will opt for much less expensive products, just like they buy cheaper cars, cheaper homes, cheaper tools etc. it’s all about the outcome you’re willing to pay for 👌

You get two bad ass bulbs, a 3 year warranty, great heat sinks, superb customer service, quality product and easy warranty process. Common sense.

Sylvania gives a lifetime warranty, has great brightness, built in heat sinks, and you don't need a bunch of extra wiring aside from load resistors. I mean, sure, the VLEDs are bright as Hell, but do you really need them that damn bright? It's especially cost prohibitive in cars like mine with multiple bulb housings. So, hard pass on those.
