That tail light lense 😂😂😂

Believe it or not, that lens has been taped on for over a year. I would LOVE to say I planned that to happen for the video but the truth is, I had no idea what was coming.

Amazing sound. I just passed my Harley course and Monday doing my written test. Any recommendations for a Harley? People say stay away from iron but I’m set on it. I don’t mind spending 6k or less to know I might crash down the road under my first 1000 miles of being a new rider

I have had this Sportster for 12 years. My only Harley Davidson ever. I have found it to be indestructible and dead on reliable. Some people claim HD is antiquated and out of date, but my experience is they will go forever. You might consider buying a crash bar for your Iron. Then if you lay it down nothing gets hurt. Also the 883 Iron is undergeared. Try to get a 30 tooth front pulley in place of the 28 tooth the bike comes with. It will make highway riding much more enjoyable.

@@MrGibsonguy335 wow they said everything you said and mentioned the highways bad but knowing to upgrade gives me a better ride on highway helps me want with picking. Thanks.

So a shop did the top end kit? Do you know if it was an hd kit or whos' parts? Sounds good though!

@MrGibsonguy335 Cool that's the shop I just looked at this morning! The guy emailed the estimate minus exhaust(which looks like an intimidating job)and air cleaner. 😎

@@Blap552 When I got mine they had just come out with the 1275 kit so the old 1250 kits were on sale. The 1275 requires 1200 heads and won't work with 883 heads. I think I got my kit for right around $500. at the time. Check their site for special offers they run all the time.

A bigger gas tank would help
@MrGibsonguy3355 ай бұрын
The Sportsters original "peanut" gas tank from the Whizzer was expanded from 2.5 to 3.3 gallons back in the 1990's. I always reset my trip-odometer with every fill up and figure on a safe 100 mile range.

Not bad. In the 70s would ride to work with a buddy. I had a Honda , 5 gallon tank. He had the small Sportster. 2.5 Gallon? He would have to stop for gas half way. He put a bigger tank. 4 gallons maybe? After market. Depends on your riding I guess. 100 miles is far enough. 🙏 STAY SAFE.
