Amazing work, commitment and sheer discipline to even attempt such a venture. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful work of art with all of us. Years ago, my mother was able to purchase a U.S.S. FLAGG, from the local Target at a clearance price of $50! I had it for years. Unfortunately, my father thought playing with toys as I got older was something I needed to, "Grow out of." I had a jealous amount of G.I. Joes and one day, everything was gone, Now with your skills, at least there is the potential to rebuild and create new memories. Thank you so much!

I would really like to see you take this to the next level and upgrade this awesome 3-D printed flag… I’m not sure what state you live in, but I’d be more than happy to do electrical work and maybe install some servos and remote control stuff… again, you did an amazing job. To be completely honest with my opinion, this is both, very impressive, and very unimpressive at the same time. It's impressive in that you've managed to scale up the design of the original U S.S. Flagg to a classified scale, however, in doing so, you've completely undermined the whole point of scaling up G.I. Joe to the Classified series' scale in the first place. You have faithfully and successfully recreated the original Flagg in every detail and therein lies the problem. Consider the original Vamp versus the Classified Vamp. The upscaling of the original allows for more details to be included in the Classified Series' counterpart. To be completely honest, I was never very impressed with the original Flagg, for a number of reasons. Two of the most important reasons being its severe lack of details for such a large and (at the time) pricey playset, and also because of the molded plastic look of the details that it did provide (don't even get me started on the ship's complete lack of a haul). Here, you've managed to replicate several of my greatest pet peeves with the Flagg. While I do realize the 3-D printing technology that you're working with is limited, and I do appreciate what it is you're attempting to achieve with this project, it still feels like a missed opportunity to enhance and bring out the Flagg's finer details. Such an endeavor would never cut it for the actual Classified Series' product and quality standards. I don't know, maybe some painting details could help improve this? With all that said, it's still pretty cool what you've done.
@RowdyToys-ki9qf2 ай бұрын
Thank you for the kind words. This one was just meant to capture the old school Flagg to match my Classified figures. It's for the nostalgia. But on to future projects, I have some crazy never before seen vehicles I'm working on. They are absolutely loaded with detail. They may h the Classified series and and have even more detail than many of the vehicles. They are going to be extraordinary. Even though this one is almost exact replica and that was the design intent, my mind was reeling with the possibilities of modifying this one. It took 3 months working night and day to finish so adding more details with projects stacking up, there's now way it could happen. I appreciate you and thanks again.

12ft flag is still not to propper scale.
@RowdyToys-ki9qf2 ай бұрын
The original wasn't a true to scale model of an actual carrier. I just based mine on scaling it 160% to fit the 6" figure size. It's true scale based on the original toy. Thank you!
@jeremysnead92332 ай бұрын
@RowdyToys-ki9qf I don't mean as a knock. I went down a rbbithole over 10 years ago true for scale G.I. Joe vehicles and playset. I came to realize that Carrier Vessels are insanely large and would never fit in a house, let alone in room. The original USS flag is not even Matchbox scale.
@RowdyToys-ki9qf2 ай бұрын
Yes sir I didn't take it that way. You are exactly right! I had calculated it and I think it would end up being about 91 ft long best I remember if it was true scale. If this one is a beast, that one will be an absolute monster lol. Thank you!
