My son is 5 and a half years old. He acts just like your son. That thing on 12s is a BEAST. I like it.

I cant wait to get a 1\5 scale. I have a revo 2.0 which was a huge upgrade to what i had. Love that rig dude

Wow... this one's FAST! Probably the fastest DBXLe on the web.
@HighVoltageRC30804 жыл бұрын
Yeah I never put a GPS on it but it definitely scoots! Similar rig did 78mph in grass so onroad probably 85-90 capable.

Awesome setup! I wanted to run mechanical brakes on my dbxle 2.0 but the kit is discontinued 😞

Wow. You set your vehicles up right. You must follow the go big or go home philosophy on rc vehicles. Hey maybe you could do a video showing the different powerplants you've used and how they compare. How does the 3080 a d 3060 Lehner compare to the stock dynamite and the 2028 and 70120 motors you've used in you 5ive vehicles? I'm a. Experimenter but haven't done much at all with the 1/5 scale stuff.

A 400 amp MGM is not necessary for this weight class. You can read out the MGM and see how much power it consumes at full throttle. If you only drive off-road and have little grip, the Losi DBXL's motor might convert 120 amps. Great Video!👍🏻

Definitely not needed but it sure is fun to drive :)

Depends on esc settings, I’m pulling 200amps on my bench. 400a/3080
@HighVoltageRC30804 жыл бұрын
@@wheelstander15 yeah, under a load I've seen 6-800a spike on the datalog. Once it's rolling the amps drop of course since the load isn't as high. The 25063 esc does work in this application but there is a noticeable difference in power. It won't handle the gearing as well as the 40063 which is why I went with that model.

@@HighVoltageRC3080 what’s your p16 and p149 parameters?
@HighVoltageRC30804 жыл бұрын
@@wheelstander15 I'd have to look at P149 but P16 usually around 1-1.5

Brushless ESC + Motor Combo for 1/5 Cars 1435,00 € = $1641.73, That's $500 more than the cost of the losi dbxl-e 2.0.

Hey love the video that DBXL is a Beast. I have the DBXL E 2.0 I Want to run this same combination with the 3080. Whats some tips on upgrades to keep should I get to handle this power and also a good gearing combination? Thanks
@BKSER14 жыл бұрын
Sorry meant to say whats some tips on upgrades so that it can handle the power
@HighVoltageRC30804 жыл бұрын
@@BKSER1 metal diff cases for sure! Youll have to get creative with mounting things like I did on this one. 400a/3080 is pretty big in a dbxle. But they run great! This one I just did metal diff cases and cups, and FLM axles ($80 per kit I think, two needed for front and rear).
@BKSER14 жыл бұрын
Hey appreciate the info definitely will upgrade those. Around What gearing should I stick around? Also should I go with thicker diff fluid than factory?

What wheels and tyres are those
@HighVoltageRC30803 жыл бұрын
Mx43 badlands for the xmaxx. Just have to drill out the center hole and cut off the fake lug nuts on the wheels then they bolt right on.
