That "shoe goo" with drywall tape is imo well worth doing. You likely already know, but just in case, make sure u do the application of shoe goo in a well ventilated area. That thing flys like a rocket.

Just FYI I only say this to people repeatedly because I used to apply it outdoors and months after doing so weekly, suddenly had trouble breathing. Since then outdoors I use a large fan blowing air from my side even outdoors. Since then I am better. That substance is gr8 for RC truck bodies, but for our lungs......?!

Damn Rob, I wish I was near you right now… I got my first DX5 (orange like yours) and I hooked it and the Spektrum receivers (with gyro) up to my Notorious and my TLR Typhon. Mamba monster X 8 and a cobra … they all worked and then out of nowhere the esc doesn’t beep or anything it just flashes red but I have steering!! I haven’t even driven them. I made sure they worked when I first put them in and when I went to drive them this is what happened. I can’t figure it out…

When you plug the aux wire in you can control diff settings from the remote when using in conjunction with the Bluetooth castle link. You don’t need to connect like rob said. He never hooks his up I do. Just a preference
