This is inside my house, I built it when I was building my home, this is as old as my house, this was AC back then, but over 20 years ago I was experimenting with smart home technology, so my wiring of the house was also experimental, I can do a lot of different things here, my home is actually a AC /DC hybrid, it has a leviton structured media box that I installed over 20 years ago when the technology was new.

You and I were building about the same time. My first place was built in 2004. I remember back then thinking that media like films etc would be going online, so I built my media area to accommodate a small desktop computer to stream films to the monitor. People thought that was pretty weird at the time. I had the basic idea right about media going online, but didn't realize that it'd soon become a NON-weird idea and companies would build much smaller devices for the purpose and my computer would become unnecessary. @@MosaicHomestead

You have to increase that tech level, you have a passive solar home, you have to learn the basics on how everything works, once you know how something works, everything else is a piece of cake.

This gag is actually old, I built this house over 20 years ago with experimental technology leviton was trying out, over 20 years they had smart lights and structured media boxes , they were training people on how to install this, I missed the wiring distribution class due to a emergency, this was the best thing that happened to me, I have a mixture of star cabling mixed with advanced wiring to work with their leviton smart switches, this technology isn't used much just because it would drive up home prices, and everything is done wireless now, but I did take advantage of the system to distribute 12v DC power throughout the home lol

The 12v lighting system isn't experimental anymore, it's been working flawlessly for years, has worked great for multiple power outages, this type of lighting should be used on all new solar homes. The anti suicide is just one of the bonuses.
