Solar panel and pond Pump, no battery

Finally got my pond pump going. This is a 100 watt solar panel, 24 volt to 12 volt dc regulator and a 1500 gph bilge pump. As long as Sun is shining it works, so it will go off at sunset and back on as soon as the sun hits the solar panel. This is my first time ever experimenting with Solar. I've got allot to learn.
