Nice! I've got a 99.5 Jetta 12v. I put an autotech system on it with an electric cutout after the resonator. It's still in assemble mode ,can't wait to hear it on the road !

Nice car I like the color I'm on the hunt for a Mk4 VR6 Jetta but haven't had luck yet. Did you gain any noticeable power with that exhaust besides noise does it pull hard? I plan on getting a couple of Bolt Ons if I get a VR6

SpyderTurbo92 Didn't really feel any performance change. With a VR6, to get a noticeable performance increase, get the ECU flashed. The only other bolt on I have is an aftermarket intake, planning to couple that with a Unitronics Stage 2 tune eventually.

nyyphi13 Thought as much well at least the ecu can be flashed or chipped. Bought a VR6 24 valve so I plan on doing minor bolt ons then I'll see if I can do a flash or chip on it, car definitely pulls but could do better with the right mods.

SpyderTurbo92 Every tune I've seen for a VR6 removes throttle lag, which is something you'll notice an immediate difference with by itself.

SpyderTurbo92 I have a vr6 2001 with the tow ring on the back I'm not sure about this car. 60k miles my sister just gave it to me because the interior needs ceiling repair as it came undone. it has the sun roof, leather seats with warmers, fully loaded... does anyone know anything about this car? people keep knocking on our door asking to buy it constantly because it sits.... is it worth fixing up the interior and daily driving it?

How is the drone with the windows down? (on the highway, specifically)

Drone is same with windows up or down, and only happens between the 2000-3000 RPM range. It's pretty bad, but if going above 75 mph in 5th gear on the highway, the RPM's sit around 3000-3100, so out of the drone range.

@@nyyphi13 Have you tried installing a resonator? I am going to take a guess and say you don't have the car anymore but if anyone wants to try this in the future try the 3in diameter 18"L from Vibrant just look around on their site for a bit you'll find it. Don't look at the UQ resonators they won't kill all types of drone.
