So ever since the day we put the remus muffler on the Jetta wagon back in Germany ive been wanting to also do a resonator delete as well to get a bit more sound out of the car. Today was that day! The car has way better sound and tone now but still not quite enough of that 12v wookie sound. So i think in the near future we will be adding a high flow cat and possibly some downpipes as well.

Also for some reason the more you drive in VR6 new exhaust modification, the better it sounds. These AFP motors have the best cold starts.

The GTI has a unique sound I was shocked because its really good. Also noticed the cameras when you and the wifey done some pulls from (06:55 in the video). If you watch the video again, it seems like the digital vibrance of the go pro seems a little better. The black pops out more on the VR6 wagon.

Both the GTI and Jetta wagon sound better now that they have Remus mufflers 👍🏻🛣️👍🏻 The muffler shop did a Great pulling the Remus on the GTI, I agree it sounds Slick now 😎🛣️ Also the wagon sounds better with the resonator delete, but still needs a high flow cat from Tectonics tuning 🏁🛣️

The GTI is dee best sound ever, because it is small and sporty. As far as the Jetta, leave it be. If you make it louder, it will take away that “I’m cool, I’m cool “ persona ! The Jetta needs to stay a sleeper. But that’s an old guys opinion. Thanks again, RickGTI…..😎🌴

Do high flow cat only. Headers on VR6 usually dont do much in terms of sound other than changing the tone a bit. I had a 42 draft cat back on my 24v MK4 GLI and the car sounded just like an R32. Then because of that, i got a 42 draft design high flow cat for my 3.6 swapped Corrado and it did wonders too!

I’m actually trying out adding a magna flow resonator on my 12v as the 3” cat back I have is basically straight piped to a high flow cat and seems like it has too much flow it’s kinda droney at the lower rpms

Remus are so quiet normally, i shoudl leave the stock cat and put some headers on it or a TT downpipe.

Weird, mine’s got no resonator but a straight through Magnaflow muffler, stock cat and stock headers and it’s way louder than that? Perhaps different muffler makes the difference? I’m not sure!

I think it was because she was tapping the pedal super quick. The black smoke is from the muffler because it never had any black smoke before
