I'm an INTJ and wished to know that a few years earlier. I went to med school and became a doctor. The knowledge, that I have acquired, satisfied my thirst for knowledge on one hand. But the lack of autonomy, innervation and being not able to work on the "bigger" picture on the other hand, is dissatisfying. That's why I'm working on becoming a medical entrepreneur and found my own medical Start-Up company to disrupt the healthcare system by using technology and empower patients. Wish me luck to accomplish that transition!

As a clear cut INTJ-A, this was eerily accurate. I just graduated high school and am currently attending a college and majoring in computer science, but the crazy part to me is that throughout high school I toyed with the ideas of working in architecture, mechanical engineering and writing. To be honest, every one of these jobs seem super intriguing, it was just that most never even crossed my mind. Thanks for the awesome video and keep up the great content!

Somehow I ended doing jobs as an Intelligence analyst (military), forensic analyst for a few corporations (detective, not police) & computer programmer, scientific researcher (hired by MIT, but I didn't go to MIT), a wannbe writer & an entrepreneur & didn't know I was an INTJ until recently at age 48. I used to get bored once I mastered a job (usually at the 2 year mark), so I moved from job to job, normally with a 50%+ pay increase each move. I now own a boxing gym, & teach boxing, the sweet science. I learn something new almost everyday while teaching that sport.

I recently found out I'm an INTJ. I work as a high school English teacher, devoted 7 years so far. It's becoming super not fun, so I started doing these tests to better understand myself and find the jobs that would be satisfying. I don't believe I'm good at maths or computer science, but I want to work from home and alone, so I'm thinking about giving it try. You get so scattered as a teacher that you're starting to forget what you're capable of. It's very draining all the time (for introverted ppl).

A VERY strong word of warning. The position you've got right now in impacting people's lives in person every day. Not sure what grade you're working, but you ARE changing lives. I have a computer science degree, have worked ten years in the field and most of the times you turn into a cog in the corporate machine. Lots of red tape, regulation, and sometimes its incredibly hard to see how you make any good impact by what you program. A lot of time its implementing something that the company wants to make them more money. and you are on call 24X7, or have a rotating schedule. The career can be boring, exciting, stressful, heart attack inducing, panic attack corner, and depending on your position, your quality of life mentally may suffer. In terms of time sacrifices and throwing yourself into the profession, I'd actually compare it to being a lawyer. Let me also tell you, money isn't everything. Its not worth it if you're sacrificed mentally. I'm 36 years old and still remember my English teachers fondly. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have your job.

While I don't especially enjoy programming, it is very satisfying to me to make a program to run a custom made machine that I designed and built! That is where the satisfaction will come in at rather than the actual writing. I struggled with math in school and I think that is a distinction between INTP's and INTJ's. My INTP friend is a master in every form of math I've even heard of and that is the biggest difference between his and my natural talents.

Nurture vs nature] from from the age 4 - 12 - ♾️years old I dreamt of being in the FBI, by the time I reached the age of 12 - ♾️ Architecture became an equally strong dream. Started off in college with architecture in mind as I began pursuing Architecture. World events happened. Ended up having enough courses for my first level degree in mathematics, found myself with physics degree too shortly after and ended up with an engineering degree. Now among other things: engineering has been my passion/hobby and profession. Next milestone in my profession/job is engineering license PE Great list ! I am proficient in Every trade needed to build a house except framing and concrete, i have done mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, operated all kinds of heavy equipment, drove a big rig for more than 500k miles, worked as a mechanic and service technician for vehicles and heavy equipment, accounting, (usually fixing problems or analyzing discrepancies and looking for foul play) been a project manager, etc. Etc. Im pretty sure i would excel at all of the things mentioned in this video, but there's only so many things 1 person can master in a lifetime, so i guess i can't have it all!😢 oh, yeah! This video was not helpful for me because this careers not always fit to people with this type of personality. INTJ often becomes the techie and likes school subjects that related to math and physics. Favorite subject in school for INTJ is very rarely something humanitarian subject like society studies or history. This is the reason why careers like lawyer or entrepreneur is not for INTJ. And I want to say about necessary to talk with people very often for judge or corporation strategist - this is very hard for INTJ. So, the best careers from INTJ is programmer, writer, architect, engineer, mathematician, scientist, accountant.

@@grazynawolska8160 I told that INTJ often becomed techies but your history is less often for this type of personality and real. Extraverts like a communication with people but it not take a lot of energy. You're introverted. As my opinion, your history is the example about intj persons become successful in the field that is very interesting for them

well people can change, I've been working as a computer programmer for 10+ years, but now I feel I can't improve myself in this job anymore. You are always sitting at the same desk, you are not seeing the world and you are not talking to people, so you have no chance to improve your social skills and will stay at the desk forever.

I think I'm a failed INTJ so became ENFJ

What do you mean by failing?

Well, both my extroversion and feeling functions as an ENFJ is weak lol something like 51% My theory is that I was initially a INTJ, but because I left home at 17 I had to develop my extroversion and I went through a rough patch at 22 where setting goals appeared pointless as I was homeless, so I developed into a ladies man (because of the unique situation I found myself in, plenty of well educated women around me) which switched my T into a F. In truth when I step outside my house I am completely a ENFJ, but once I cross that threshold into my house I am INTJ and very sensitive to my environment, which I'm not when I'm outside my house. It's quite a stark difference really! I recently came across the MBTI and it has helped me make sense of a lot of my behaviour and given me strategies to overcome my weaknesses and develop! Great analysis btw!
