One thing I kinda wonder if headlights you see on late 60's GTOs, Camaros and Chargers would also count. They technically work in a similar fashion, but are just hidden differently (as part of the grille instead of part of the body). I think headlights like that do deserve a honourable mention too due to their different approach to the same mechanism (minus the ERRRRR DYNAMICS benefit but big plus for the looks).

My dad has a C5 corvette sitting in his garage right now. He got it just after he and my mom got married and someone ran into him shortly after. He decided to completely rebuild and repaint it and only got halfway through. I really hope one day I can get that C5 given to me and fix it up. It's such a cool car and it was really fun seeing it at #1.
