Sahih Bukhari #2.23.390 "At that time Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet) was in his last breaths, and the eyes of Allah's Apostle started shedding tears. Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf said, 'O Allah's Apostle, even you are weeping!" Sunan Nasa' I #2034, Sunan Abu Dawud #3234, Sunan Ibn Majah #1572, Musnad Hanbal #9686, Mustadrak Hakim #1390 (certifies the tradition as authentic by the criteria of Muslim): The Messanger of Allah saww visited the tomb of his mother. He cried and so did those around him.

Sahih Bukhari 2.23.374 Anas said, "I saw his eyes shedding tears [during the funeral of Ruqayyah]." Isti'ab 1:426 #559 (Hamzah ibn Abd' al-Muttalib); Kanz al-'Ummal #36938-9 "When the Prophet saww) saw that Hamzah was killed, he cried. And when he saw that he had been disfigured, he broke out into loud weeping."

Sunan Tirmidihi #3771, Mustadrak Hakim #6764, Tarikh al-Khulafa 184, Tarikh Ibn Kathir 8:218-9. Salma said: I entered upon Umm Salamah (the wife of the Prophet saww) and she was crying. I asked, "What is making you cry?" She replied, "I saw the Messenger of Allah saww net toe me [in a dream] while asleep. There was dirt on his head and beard. I asked, 'What is [going on] with you, O Messenger of Allah? He said, 'I witnessed Husayn just getting killed!"

Crying and wailing are synonymous 44:29 So wept not on them the heavens and the earth nor were they respited. The heavens and the earth wept for the righteous and not for the wicked. 12:84-85 And he turned away from them, and said: "Alas! my grief for Joseph!" and his eyes were whitened with the grief, and he was a repressor (of grief). Said they: "By God! Thou wilt not cease to remember Joseph until thou art (seriously) ill or (until) thou art of the perished ones (dead)." A Nabi as weeps.

Ibne Abi Salij Baghdadi (d. 326 AH) a contemporary of the deputies of Imam Mahdi (as) in his bookMawaleedo Wafaatul Aimmah, while narrating the events of 260 AH writes, "At the time of his death, Imam Hasan Askari (as) was survived by this children Mohammed, Musa, Fatemah and Ayesha."

First off, just because you cite a hadith from a specific source does not indicate absolute truth. We must use Quran to validate hadith. And there is hadith that commends crying for the dead. Quran does not agree with the last declaration (wailing over the dead). Quran tells us we should cry for the dead. Allah narrates in Quran that Jacob (as) went blind crying for Joseph (as). Allah also tells us in the Quran that the Earth itself mourns the dead. Would you like me to reference those verses?

Lastly, A sunni tradition says (and I am not really sure I believe in this traditions truthfulness, though, I do believe it is possible): Umm Salamah said, "I heard the jinn crying for Husayn (as) and wailing (tanuhu) for him." ---Tarikh al-Khulafa' 184

Right !? Some people totally misunderstand the correct, upright Shia sect of Islam. This is "Islam-Original" The correct Shia of Imam Ali (as) are those that follow the One God, The Quran&The RasoolAllah (saww), and after the RasoolAllah we the Shia of Imam Ali (as) follow and recognize Imam Ali as the RasoolAllahs true successor. Imam Ali only ever followed the RasooAllah in action, thought, and teaching to perfection. We follow the RasoolAllahs Ahlul Bayt; light upon light of divine guidance.
