@@saajjadd for instance, *Imam Ali Al Riza's (a) (8th Imam) Sermon On The Unity/Oneness Of God* Al-Ma’mun (May God Curse him) sent someone after him and he came. The Hashemites told him, “O Abul Hasan (Imam Riza)! Climb up the pulpit and display for us a sign whereby we may worship God.” So he (a) climbed up the pulpit and sat there for a long time with his head bowed down in silence. Then he trembled - a great trembling - and stood up straight, praised the Sublime God, and recited God’s praises and asked for His blessing for His Prophet and the Members of the Holy Household. Then he (a) said, “The first element in the worship of the Sublime God is His recognition. The root of recognition of God is to profess to His Unity. The order for professing the Unity of God is to deny He has any attributes, since the powers of reasoning testify that every attribute and everything which possesses an attribute are created. Everything that is created testifies that it has a Creator which is neither an attribute nor does it possess any attributes. Every attribute and everything possessing an attribute testify to the association between the attribute and that to which it is attributed. Any association testifies to temporality. And temporality testifies that it accepts not the Beginningless which accepts not the temporal. So it is not God whose Essence is recognized through striking similitude. It is not His Unity that is professed by someone who attempts to fathom Him. It is not His reality (haqiqa) that is attained by someone who strikes a similitude for Him. It is not He who is confirmed (tasdiq) by him who professes an end for Him. If one points to Him, it is not God that is pointed to. It is not He who is meant by him who compares Him (to something). It one ascribes parts to God, he has not indeed humbled himself in the presence of God. And it is not God who is desired by one who conceives of God in his imagination. Everything that can be known in itself is fashioned. All that stands apart from Him is an effect. God is inferred from what He fashions, the recognition of Him is expedited by the powers of reasoning, and the argument for Him is established by (man's) primordial nature. God's creating of the creatures is a veil between Him and them. His separation (mubayana) from them is due to the fact that He is disengaged from their localization. That He is their origin is proof for them that He has no origin, for none that has an origin can originate others. That He has created them possessing means (of accomplishing things) is proof that He has no means (adapt) for means are witness to the poverty of those who use them. So His names are an expression, His acts are (a way) to make (Him) understood, and His Essence is Reality. His innermost center separates Him from Creation, and His otherness limits what is other than Him. Therefore ignorant of God is he who asks for Him to be described!Transgressing against Him is he who seeks to encompass Him!Mistaken is he who imagines to have fathomed Him! Whoever asks 'how?' has compared Him (to something). Whoever says 'why?' has professed for Him a cause. Whoever says 'when?' has determined Him in time. Whoever says 'in what?' has enclosed Him. Whoever says 'to what?' has professed for Him a limit. Whoever says 'until what?' has given Him an end. Whoever gives Him an end has associated an end with Him. Whoever associates an end with Him has divided Him. Whoever divides Him has described Him. Whoever describes Him has deviated from the straight path concerning Him. God does not change with the changes undergone by Creation, just as He does not become limited by delimiting that which is limited. He is One, not according to the explanation offered by number; Outward, not according to the explanation of being immediate (to the senses); Manifest, not through the appearance of a vision (of Him); Inward, not through separation; Apart, not through distance; Near, not through approach; Subtle, not through corporealness; Existent, not after nonexistence; Active, not through coercion; Determining, not through the activity of thought; Directing, not through movement; Desiring, not through resolution; Willing, not through directing attention; Grasping, not through touch; Hearing, not through means; and Seeing, not through organs.Times accompany Him not, places enclose Him not, slumber seizes Him not, attributes delimit Him not, and instruments are of no use to Him. His Being precedes time, His Existence precedes non-existence and His Beginninglessness precedes beginning. By His giving sense to the sense organs it is known that He has no sense organs. By His giving substance to substances it is known that He has no substance. By His causing opposition among things it is known that He has no opposite. By His causing affiliation among affairs it is known that He has no affiliate. He made darkness opposite to light, obscurity to clarity, moisture to dryness, and heat to cold. He joins together those things which are in total contradiction with one another and separates those which are near. They prove (the existence of) their Separator by their separation and their Joiner by their junction. That is (the meaning of) the Sublime (God’s) words, ‘And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction.’ So through them He separated 'before' and 'after' that it might be known that He has no before and after. They testify with their temperaments that He who gave them temperaments has no temperament. They prove by their disparity that He who made them disparate has no disparity. They announce by their subjection to time that He who subjected them to time is not subject to it Himself. He veiled some of them from others, so that it might be known that there is no veil between Him and them other than them. His is the true meaning of lordship when there was none over whom He was Lord; the reality of Godhood when there was nothing for whom He was God; the true meaning of All-Knower when there was nothing to be known; the true meaning of m Creator when there was nothing created and the interpreter of hearing when there was nothing to be heard. It is not because He created that which makes Him deserve the true meaning (of the term) 'Creator' and not because He brought the creatures into being that the true meaning of 'making' is derived. How (could it not be so)? For using such words as ‘ago’ conceals Him not, 'already' brings Him not near, ‘perhaps’ veils Him not, 'when' limits Him not in time, 'at the time of' contains Him not, and 'with' associates Him not. Instruments limit only themselves and means are only effective upon other similar means. Their activities are found only in things. The word ‘ago’ keeps things from being eternal; the word 'already' shields them from beginninglessness; and the words 'if only' wards off perfection. Things become separate and thus they prove (the existence of) their Separator. They become distinguished and thus they prove their Distinguisher Through them their Maker manifests Himself to the powers of reasoning, and He becomes veiled to the sight through these powers. To these powers of reasoning imaginations appeal for a decision. And in them is substantiated (only) other than Him. From them is suspended the proof and through them He has revealed to them the acknowledgement of His Unity. Confirmation of God is made fast by the powers of reasoning, and faith in Him attains perfection through acknowledgment. There is no religiousness except after recognition, no knowledge except through sincerity and no sincerity along with striking similitude. If one ascribes attributes for God, then he has indeed drawn a similitude. So nothing in Creation is found in its Creator. All that is possible in it is impossible in its Maker. Movement and stillness do not affect Him. How should that which He affects (in others) have any effect upon Him, or that which He has originated recur for Him?Then His Essence would be disparate, His innermost center would be divided and His being Eternal would become an impossibility. How would then the Creator have a meaning different from the created? If something from behind limited Him, then something in front would limit Him. If perfection were seeking Him, imperfection would be upon Him. How should that which does not transcend temporality be worthy of (the Name) 'Beginningless'? How should that which does not transcend being produced, produce the things (of the world)? There they would have arisen in Him a sign of having been made and He would become a proof after having been the proven. There is no argument in absurd opinions; there is no answer when it (absurdity) is asked about; and there is no glorification of Him in its meaning. Nor is there any absurdity in distinguishing Him from Creation, unless it be that the Independent accepts not to be made into two, nor does the Beginningless accepts to have a beginning. There is no god but God, the All-High, and the Tremendous. They have cried lies that ascribe equals to God! They have gone astray into farreaching error and suffered a manifest loss!May God’s Blessings be upon Muhammad and his Pure Household. Uyoon Akhbaar Imam Al Riza (a) vol.1 p.142

For instance, *The Commander Of The Believers Imam Ali ibn Abi Taalib (pbuh) Describes The Qualities Of A Believer* Once a man called Hammam, a devout worshipper practicing religious rules and a hardworking man came to The Commander Of The believers Imam Ali ibn Abi Taalib (pbuh) during his speech and said, ‘ O Commander of the believers, describe for us the qualities of the believer as if we see him before our eyes’. 'The commander of the believers Imam Ali (pbuh) said: ‘O Hammam, a believer is a smart, intelligent one whose delight is on his face and whose sadness is in his heart, his chest is vastly open, his soul is most humble, he criticizes one’s leaning to every mortal, exhorts to everything good. He is not hateful, quarrelsome, scandalous, faultfinding or backbiting. He dislikes high positions (leadership) and is an enemy of fame and publicity. His sadness remains for a long time, his ambition is far reaching. He very often remains silent, dignified, ever remembering (the Lord), exercising patience, grateful, sad due to his thoughts, happy with his poverty, easy in his nature, kindhearted, of strong loyalty, of very little trouble, not a liar or insulting, ‘When laughing, he does not burst. When angry he does not rush. His laughing is smiles, his question is to learn, his review is to understand, his knowledge is plentiful, his forbearance is great and his blessing is a great deal. He is not stingy, he does not hasten, irritate or acts as an extremist, is not unjust in his judgement, or unfair due to his knowledge. His soul is more solid than a rock, his labour is sweeter than honey. He is not greedy, intolerant, violent, conceited, pretending or exaggerating. He is graceful in disputed matters, of honourable visitation, a man of justice when angry, and a friend when asked. He is not adventurous, or insulting and intimidating. His love is pure, he is of solid promise, of fulfilling commitment, affectionate, a keeper of good relations, and forbearing, calm, of very little that is extraneous, happy with Allah and opposes his own desires. He is not rough toward his inferiors and does not indulge in what is not his business. He is a supporter of religion, a defender of believers; a stronghold for Muslims, and admiration does not affect him negatively, greed does not hurt his heart, playfulness does not change his judgement and ignorant ones cannot find the limits of his knowledge. ‘His words are many and he is a determined scholar. He is not abusive or furious. He reaches out without harshness, is generous not a spendthrift, is not deceitful or treacherous, is not a faultfinder or unjust to a human being. He is a friend of the creatures, effortful on Earth, assistant of the weak and a helper of the helpless. He does not violate what is hidden or uncover secrets; his trials are a great deal but his complaints are very little. He remembers the good that he had seen, covers up the evil that he may observe, hides the defects, safeguards the unseen, corrects slips and forgives mistakes. He does not walk away from an advice that he can give, and he does not give up reforming an unjust instance. He is trustworthy, steadfast, pious, clean, purified and consenting. He accepts excuses, speaks of someone with grace and he is good and expects good from people. He accuses his soul of defects, loves for the sake of Allah;with understanding and knowledge, cuts-off relations for the sake of Allah with firmness and determination. Happiness does not trespass upon him and intense happiness does not make him excited. He is a reminder for the scholar and a teacher for the ignorant. He is not expected to cause a calamity. He is not feared for causing a tragedy, every effort to him is more sincere than his own and every soul is more correct than his own. He knows his defects. He is busy with his own sadness. He does not rely on anyone except his Lord. He feels a stranger, lonely, dispossessed and sad. He loves for the sake of Allah, strives for the sake of Allah to follow His Happiness. He does not revenge by himself for his ownself. He does not make friends to make his Lord angry. He sits with the poor, is a friend of the truthful ones, a supporter of the people of truth and an assistant for those near to him. He is like a father for the orphans, like a guardian for the widows, the first hope for the destitute, expected to remove every resentful matter and to relieve every difficulty. He is light and happy, is not frowning or sly, and is strong, controlling of anger, smiling, sharp-sighted and greatly cautious. He does not ignore, and if ignored, he is forbearing. He is not stingy and if stinginess, is used against him he exercises patience. He understands, thus he is conscious, is content, independent and is self-sufficient. His abstinent is higher than his lust, his love is higher than his jealousy and his forgiveness is higher than his hate. He does not speak without correctness and does not dress unless it is economical. He walks humbly, is submissive before his Lord in obedience and is happy with Him in all conditions. His intention is pure and sincere. His deeds are free of fraud and deceit. His observations are good lessons, his silence is thoughtful and his words are wisdom. He is advising, charitable and brotherly. He gives good advice in public and in private. He neither abandons his brother nor backbites and nor plots against him. He does not regret what he has missed, and does not become sad for whatever befalls him. He does not hope for what is not lawful. He does not fail in hardships and does not perpetrate in comfort. He mixes forbearance with knowledge and reason with patience. He is not lazy but is always active, of very short longing and of very few slips. (Good) is expected through him, his heart is fearful, he always speaks of his Lord, his soul is content, his ignorance is negative, his affairs are easy, he is sad for his sins, his lust is dead, his anger is controlled and his moral behaviors are lucent. His neighbours live safely with him, he has suppressed his pride, he is content with whatever is determined for him, his patience is strong, his affair is well established and his remembering (the Lord) is a great deal. He meets with people to learn and remains silent for safety, he asks questions to understand, and he trades to earn. He does not remain silent for good to be subjected to injustice, and does not speak to be used in doing injustice to others. His soul is tired of him and people are comfortable with him. He has tired his soul for the gains of the next life and has provided comfort to others by means of his soul. If rebellion is committed against him he exercises patience until Allah finds support for him. His distancing when distancing is needed comes in overlooking and in graceful disregard, and his closeness when closeness is needed comes as kindness and blessings. His distancing is not out of boastfulness or greatness and his closeness is not a plot or deceit. It is because he follows the footsteps of those before him, the people of goodness. Thus, he is the leader for those after him.’ ‘The narrator has said that Hammam breathed very deeply and fell down unconscious. Imam Ali (pbuh) said: ‘By Allah I was afraid of its effect for him. This is how effective advice works on people deserving such advice. Someone said: ‘Why does it not apply to you, O Commander of the believers?’ The Imam (pbuh)said: ‘For everything there is an appointed time that is not surpassed and a cause that does not fail. Wait, and do not transgress. It was a blow that Satan made to flow through your tongue’.

A very informative series! One small correction: Malcolm X joined the "Nation of Islam" in prison. He did not convert to Islam until his leaving that organization (which has many beliefs that take them outside the fold of Islam) and doing his Hajj, years later. Even so, he did use his time in prison well and educated himself while he was there, and he did at least quit a lot of his harami actions in prison.

The most important parts of any worthwhile biography are not their ancestry, place, time, or who their family was, but the veracity of their beliefs and deeds. To truly be of The Innocents, one's childhood would have been filled with honesty, a lack of baseless speculation, and devotional service to God. Imam Hasan Al Askaree is important, because he is the last of the Ithni Ashurah Imamiah that people agree was a historical character. He was an important example of how even the best may end up incarcerated and of those there, there may be those who become of the best humans. The Masjid Al Askai in Samarra, Iraq is a violation of the Islamic principle that the places of prostration are for God alone. The narrations that show the figure of speech that the person who tends for or goes to one of the masajid regularly as being their mosque was not something the initial generations took literally. The Waqfiyya, Zaidiyya, and others besides the Pseudo-Islamic Al Khilafat ul `Absasiyyah Khulafah bear some of the responsibility of what happened to the later figures regarded as Imam Al Zaman (Leader by Example of the Time). More important than any personality or historical visitation is truly the study and practice of the words or works of the scholars and better.

What he spoke on about the role of scholars being involved with prison is very important. I came to the deen while in prison. A lot of brothers in prison are Sunni because that’s the only side of the deen that they have access to. Not just scholars but we the Shia need to do more when it comes to spreading knowledge about Ahul Bayt.

My understanding of you can marry one two three or four but if you can't treat them justly marry only one it say you can you can not not you should or you must you can marry up to 4 wives but you must treat them equally and since is almost certain that no man can ever threat his 4 sons equalally yet along wives than marry only one.there is nothing contradictory about the Koran it is our problem that we can not grasp the true meaning of the verse that is why we need the hadiath of the prophet that are in thousand of book form.that is why we have to learn from the ahlobayt of the prophet from the immams the truth about what we do not understand and I do not mean to follow and listen to any hadiath no to the authentic hadiath of the prophet that are around both authenticated by sonni and shia scholars.i go further and mention about something that we are involve in a daily basis such as our 5 times pray.who would you or who should we follow as far as how to pray how to stand how to conduct yourself when in comes to pray should we follow the way of our prophet his ahlobayt or other people.shiuldbwe pray according to how Ali is telling us how to pray Ali a person that practically was raised by the prophet from the young age of 6 from the time that he stood behind the prophet and followed the prophet in pray.follow them since they never ever idol worshipper they were following the way of prophet Ibrahim or should we brother follow and listen to a made way if pray from second caliph Omar whom was still worshipping idols 12 years after even Islam was intriduced.you see this us what I am talking about and when I start my comment I go out of myself and can not resist to mention all these facts.the fact that I just mentioned thus truth and fact will make our sonni brothers upset but is better to make them upset and may be you and few of them up to realise that they are on the wrong path that to be a Muslim is not just to beilve in Allah his holly book Koran his blessed prophet you have to also follow obey and absolutely not twist the prophet words and do ad he asked you to do .follow Koran and his ahlobayt and you will be guided.you can not cheery pick the hadiath brothers you can not pick the one that suits you and dismiss the one that do not fancy you otherwise tell me what is the difference between us and the Jews that have covered up the words if their prophet.
