I've had very good luck being plant-based and doing most of what is said here - my last annual exam was GREAT! EVERYTHING IN THE GREEN! I even repaired my thyroid through changing certain vegetables. NO ALCOHOL!!! I Will NOT take the pills that make bones brittle! I had a fall onto rocks - no breaks! 68 yrs old.

I finally got my calcium artery scan earlier this month. Kaiser wouldn’t approve despite my high cholesterol (genetic not from diet). I appreciated your response to me a few months back with suggestions on where I could get one without a doctors order. I found one in Irvine that let me do a telehealth “appointment” with one of their connected providers and then they allowed me to purchase the scan. My score was zero and that gave me the piece of mind to resist my doctor’s recommendation of a low dose statin.

What were you results from dexa scan if you don’t mind me asking I’m not convinced we can reverse someone with severe osteoporosis mine was -3.8had two severe fractures at t 6/7 and it’s left me with kyphosis and height loss I want to stop taking the alendronic acid because I think it’s making my pain worse but if I’m wrong and stop taking and can’t improve my bones there going to get worse I can’t do all the exercises like weight lifting nor even going for a walk because I can’t breath with having severe osteoporosis Think I’m stuck

Hi - thank you for the video and advice. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis a number of years ago but declined the offer of bisophanates much to my doctors annoyance. I have not been tested since diagnosis as I exercise and take supplements. However, I will ask my doctor for a blood test re your mention of too much calcium in the arteries. Can't find the calcium supplement you mentioned on amazon though. I have also been reading about the benefits of creatine and wondered what your thoughts are on this. thanks Jan

Find your videos very promising. I have osteopenia -2.2 in my spine. I’m from Canada and don’t see Garden of Life Grow Bones available anywhere. I am taking AOR Bone Basics. Was taking AOR Strontium Support II (680 mg) before bed. But I’m reading mixed reviews on whether I should take Strontium Citrate. That it will skew the results of a Dexa scan and make my bones worse. It’s all so confusing.

How can u reverse severe osteoporosis when you have a high score of -3.8 had severe wedge fractures that caused kyphosis and height loss does this apply to people like me because Iv been told and read we can’t reverse it or cure it I be been on alendronic acid for a few months and pretty sure there causing more pain and abdominal pain first few days of taking it then after day 5 it calms down abit but then two days later I have to take another pill and go through it all again I’m very depressed over this and it’s painful I can’t soo much of excersise because I can’t breath very well due to severe emphysema which makes me extremely breathless I’m at a lose end and almost giving up No energy I don feel hungry or thirsty anymore and have to force little bits of food down and force water down My muscles are gone how do I get my muscle back to support my body and strengthen my bones The muscles in my back are gone to I’m also in vit calci -D 1000/1000unit chewable ta Is this to low? I very rarely step outside How do we know which vit 2k to take or other supplements I eat m vit d with half an advocado pear most days and two eggs also eat 6 prunes and dates Iv read this is good for bones ?

I'm going to guess that years of eating the wrong foods and not eating the right foods has done serious damage throughout your body. unfortunately fruits and vegetable which are beneficial in bone healthy diet are very very high in oxalate . For the kidney stone producers not very healthy!!! Even if you did not have kidney stones in the past you may get them by eating this much of oxalate rich foods.
