Thanks for the castor oil updates, GloryB. I'm still experimenting with the oil. I'm not sure if it's causing the odd break out for me but I will continue experimenting. I look forward to your next update. :)

My skin complexion darkened as I travel a lot in the sun and also I had acne scars. I tried several homemade remedies but did not see any good results. So I started using this Littellextra rice berry vitamin C facial serum daily. I first wash my face with rice berry face wash and then I apply the face serum. Combined, doing this for the last 2 months, I have noticed that my complexion has improved significantly and scars are fading as well. I would highly recommend this routine to anyone who has faced things like i did.

I'm not even 40 yet and I've had age spots on my hands for quite many years. I started using only castor oil with either coconut/olive or jojoba oil and after about 3 months of using only that mixture for my skin, I started noticing that age spots are not as visible anymore. After 6 months altogether, I see a big difference. It certainly helps!

I eat bananas all the time. I know many healthy people I've been following for years and they all eat at least one banana a day. Several eat 2 or 3 a day. And it's not a problem. If people have a sugar issue just from eating bananas, that's a signal that there is something else going on in their body that needs to be addressed.

Not everyone can tolerate dairy. And POST MENOPAUSAL WOMEN NEED ESTROGEN - yes it does help prevent osteopenia. Female ObGyn's are recommending estradiol patches - easy for any MD to prescribe. Wish I had learned a lot earlier about this. Had severe insomnia for twenty years until I discovered estradiol patches.

Thank you, that was very helpful and easy to follow. I just got an osteopena diagnosis and have compression fractures in my low lumbar spine so I've got to get that addressed. I was wondering how old you were and did you have osteo when you had your bunion surgery. I also have bunions. They don't look that bad but I'm 74y and need to do something before I'm much older. My feet hurt and my big toes have begun doing a midline spasm. (pulling toward the other foot). Also getting calluses on the underside of the toe and ball of foot which indicates my foot is hitting the floor in an "off" movement. I live in a very rural area and am limited for medical choices. Thanks again for easy instructions and I'm going to look at your other vids. Blessings, p

We are all different and have different nutritional needs. I shouldn’t have got OP if exercise/diet/weight bearing prevented it!
@gloryb-tv
@gloryb-tv 4 күн бұрын
Lots of people get OP. The dexa scan compares our bones to that of a 30 year old woman. The dexa scan was created by Merck after they created a drug that builds "cheap bone". They needed a way to "tell women", "You need our drug". I've been convinced that humans don't have different nutritional needs. This is after 25+ years of following people who are older than I am to see what their actual long-term results are - mostly doctors who eat this way AND who work with patients (thousands of patients over a number of years) to get them eating whole plant foods only, and as these people get into their 80s and 90s, they take no meds for the one-or-more comorbidities that meat-eaters and dairy-eaters have - heart disease, high blood pressure, type II diabetes, etc. Every bit of exercise, better diet, weight-bearing, etc., builds up bones in the correct, and most healthy, way.

Going through semi meltdown now as 76 and have had been on Prolia for 8 years. Dr said list of possible side effects on all meds but you need to decide risk benefit. When I started I had my only mini fracture on my foot but Dexa scan showed i was lower than zero so probably no real problem. I also heard so bought a rebounder.

Fact indeed! Not one mention of genetics. I grew up on a farm eating the most nutritious foods from day one. Love veggies, cheeses, local meats etc. Also spent my entire childhood running around the farm, then my teen years with dance. AT 63 I've been diagnosed with spinal and hip osteo with high risk for fracture. My friend was a gymnast into her late teens, and being Italian, had a Mediterranean diet, also has osteo. What do we have in common? Moms and grand-moms with the disease. Be careful folks. Diet and exercise are very important but in the end, genetics wins out...sadly...and medications can be life savers.
