My 10 year old daughter and 7 year old twins (boy and girl) enjoyed watching this vid. They had so much fun trying to name the items. I learned the French ruler and the Tailor's ham and won't ever forget it. Thank you!

Tailors ham was the thing I couldn’t name. I thought 💭 of it as an ironing ball to iron the curves in your clothes 😅 I can’t live without it!!

At least you owned one. 😆 I just bought one and I’m probably going to be using it so much now.

I just love you and your personality. You amaze me at what you can do with clothes and turn them into better clothes. I’ve sewn forever (more quilting, purses and bags though) but a couple of those things I didn’t know the name of. I have been binge watching your videos over the last few days, can’t get enough. Thanks for sharing all your ideas and hard work.

Thread 6. seam ripper (did not know what the ball end was for but your tip on it has made a task easier and quicker) 7. Fabric Scissors (woo child I know now why my Gma used to get upset when we use her good scissors for cutting out our paper dolls) 8. Snippers 9. measuring tape 10. Procter? 11. sewing chalk 12. iron cushion 13. Sewing machine Yep, you definitely got me on 12 but once you said it I think your mom might have mention this, because I had an oh yeah moment. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

Yup, mom got me on that one last time. That’s when I learned what it was. And yes, I should absolutely always wear a thimble on every finger. 😆

I have a bunch of the long pins that were used to hold carnations on the lapel. Yea, I use them when needed and they have come in handy at least once. Also, the way I learned about the difference in scissors is that the ones used to cut fabric are called Shears and the ones used to cut paper are called scissors.

@@BlueprintDIY thank you for commenting. I am glad I found your channel. I am trying to upsize a pair of jean shorts and I just got a good idea for them. The denim I have to help open them up is not long enough so, I am going to add t-shirt material and have a fringe in the seam while the rest of them are going to have the hem.. I am hoping it looks real cool..

I knew #12 because my Meemaw had some and called them "hams," but I had no idea that the little baby tomato on the pin cushion was for sharpening pins! I also didn't know that the thin, tiny pins with the flat metal heads were for silk. I never liked using those types of pins, but now I know when to use them! I love your videos! They're not just packed with good instruction, they're super entertaining, because you have the most upbeat and positive personality. They're my new favorite thing to binge-watch. lol

Oh wow❣️ I only got 4 of the answers right lol I just purchased a used sewing machine for $25! It was selling for more at a thrift shop but my dad talked the man down to $25! I can’t believe how cute some sewing machines are! And some have a digital screen?!?! Wow! That pink one u showed us was really cute! Mine is heavy and I think it was really white at one time but now it’s an off yellow colour but that’s alright cause I’m just learning and want to do what u do! You are a creative Queen my dear!

For a t-shirt sleeve, where it looks like a serger stitch on the inside but on the outside it just has two nice straight parallel lines, is that done on a serger or regular sewing machine?

It’s done on a coverstitch machine, but you can do it on a regular sewing machine with a twin needle.
