The Mach cone effect reduction does actually greatly help if you're flying a plane that likes to "straddle" Mach 1.0 - planes like the J-7E, F-4s with bombs or on stage 1 afterburner, A-5C/Q-5s among many, many others. The change makes it actually reasonable to aim your guns without being screwed over by the mach cone effect constantly, and I would really say it's a massive QoL change for the planes affected heavily by it.

I agree, as someone who is grinding the American air tree with the F-5C it was super annoying trying to fly and then having that mach cone in my face all the time because it stays at like 700-720 mph and I would have to slow down slightly but now it's fantastic to fly I don't get super annoyed flying it as much anymore

About the modification animations - on top of the mobility upgrades being visually identical, all animations for add-on armour are identical, even though it's really useful to know what sort of protection you're getting in return for that extra weight already displayed on the stat card. Some tanks don't have an animation for their add-on armour at all!

The bush changes really only affect someone who has the time to shoot off a bunch covering a weak spot. Otherwise, it's a useless change in regards to wallet warriors using bushes to their advantage. It still does nothing if you can't get the first shot into a weak spot, and it still does nothing against people who camp in bushes or hedgerows on any given map, making themselves damn near invisible to most people until they're already shot you or someone else.

The bush change is actually usefull for me and my Sim mates. Sometimes you forget a bush in front of your optic and now your homies can just shoot it away :)

The thing with the trees is that, yes they do move like that because of a strong wind, but real life you're mostly facing strong wind for several seconds before it goes back to normal, while in wt it's a constant

@@derpfin5145 As a "main feature" its REALLY low on the list in the patch notes post. It was literally on the bullet point above the 3D decorations which was included in this video. In fact it is not even mentioned in the TLDR section Gaijin has. "A vast amount of vehicles, fixes and anticipated Roadmap additions have now been implemented! Flagship jets: F-16C Block 50, Barak II and MiG-29SMT, plus jets for other nations. Italy has gained the Hungarian branch, which includes 11 ground vehicles starting from the Csaba and ending at the KF41, as well as 3 helicopters. The first South Korean vehicle, the VIDAR - which arrives as an export variant used by Norway - also comes to the Swedish tree! The visual effects of wind, smoke and ammo detonations plus more have also been improved, as well as a rank VI Bluewater and 3 premium Battleships have arrived. Two new maps, including the return of “Test Site - 2271”, are also here." They talk about smoke and ammo detonations there, but only about visual improvements. Not about being able to detonate the smoke cannisters on an enemy tank.

Because of the reactive trees my pc couldn’t handle WT anymore. I had to drop $500 and swap from a nvidia 1050 to a 4060Ti. Wish there was a way to turn them off in the settings, it doesn’t help the players with lower income or pc power.

on what resolution do you play. l am using gtx 980m and it still gets 60fps on high 1080p only map that is exception is Karelia becouse jesus christ there is enough moving threes to drop your fps to low 30 when flying a plane very low in ground RB.

I hope they improve the bushes again. I found that in matches, it takes way too long for bushes to be shot off and the enemy with said bushes has lots of time to just kill you. The time it takes for them be shot off should be a lot quicker if not nearly instant.

tbh i think the camo unlock speed change is too easy. instead of 5 points per kill, it should be like 2 or 3. vehicles that required 300 kills before, now only require 60, which is just a handful of matches. (i also said this in the partner server, but it got downvoted to hell and back ..... maybe this is just a horribly hot take)

User fixable scenario. Set your camo to default only an wait and extra 100 kills or so. For the rest of us it's wonderful.

I actually hate the new tree animations so much that I am practically incapable of playing the gam. It's nearly impossible to see enemy tanks if they are near an area with a lot of trees because the extreme unnatural movement makes tanks basically invisible, especially if they have camo bushes on. And to make matters worse, there is no option to disable the feature.
