Great video. I would just add 2 observations. French women of all ages might buy the same piece of clothing, for example a lovely cashmere cardigan, but will style it really differently as they grow older. Also, French women think in terms of outfits.They will buy something only if it goes with things they already own and they can think of using it in several ways.

Sadly that top is an old one - it's the Ines top from Marle, about 3-4 years old. You might be able to source one pre loved if you do a little search, though x

I'll confess that I've been fascinated with the "french girl" style since in my teens, and have actually used it to an extent to hone in on creating a streamlined, but still applying my personal style, to my wardrobe.

I really enjoyed this video. What's going on w nylons/pantyhose these days? How are women managing their bare legs being shown w a dress or skirt. Do they use a tanning spray? 🤔 Pantyhose always kept me warmer in winter.

Here in Sydney our winters are so mild - I have a pair of stockings but truthfully seldom reach for them. I'll usually wear my skirts on days where it's a little milder for bare legs. My sister uses the skin toned ones in the winter, though (for Canberra!)
