I really,really, REALLY, wished I saw this! I saw little clips of this and I can relate to it and can help me understand that other people are going through the same thing. Also, the comedy is GREAT. Guys, even though we freakin LOVE this musical (even people who haven't seen it love it) we know that the original cast can't just all come back for a 16 or 18 the musical.They're already busy doing their own new stuff. If it's possible for them to bring the show back it'll mean a new cast but to me it won't do justice. So we'll just have to leave it as this. An amazing broadway show that was.

The dancing was more mass movement than carefully executed choreography. It was not a dance show like Chorus Line. Actually the dance moves were more like what you saw in Spring Awakening. More like jumping up and down/break dancing type stuff. But whatever the kids did was energetic and full of high spirits. If you look at the KZbins showing the opening nimber, that's pretty much what they did.

I saw the original production at the Mark Taper Forum in LA, and I loved it. But the Broadway production, based on the videos, seems to have lost something of the intimacy that made the original production so good. Sometimes shows don't transfer well to larger spaces, and I have a feeling that's what happened with 13.
