We'd have to see if there was a shout to go along with the animation, but the pose itself completely reminds me of Tien shouting away the Super Dodonpa. EDIT: Okay, just went looking for an animation of it...and it appears that it might actually be costume-based. He does the normal deflect in his Super outfit, but as shown in _this_ video, he appears to do the kiai disperse instead while he's wearing his DB/DBZ outfit. Very interesting to note.

The game is a lot of fun. The problem is people are disappointed that it isn't BT 3 with more features and it started with bugs and balance issues (Afterimage Strike and 19/Gero cheese). The developers have since listened to feedback and patched out these problems. It's shaky, as there is still gameplay issues and less content than BT 3, but already I feel it plays WAY better than Xenoverse 2. Even after all the patches and next gen versions that game has gotten. And if they keep respecting the fans and providing more support and updates down the line, it could very well hold the title of BT 4 in fans hearts.

If I had to guess why Piccolo's charge rate isn't as low as Nail and Lord Slug, it's probably a little reference to Piccolo not being raised on Planet Namek, since Kami was confirmed to have left Namek during a terrible calamity before arriving on Earth.

Hit is able to erase his presence better than any other fighter which is why Goku loses track of him. Likely a reference to the arc before the ToP where Goku is looking for signs of Hit everywhere but can’t find him until he reveals himself

For reference, Goku was able to sense creatures as small as cockroaches and the exact amount of them while looking for Hit. Gohan and Goten lowed their ki to secretly followed Goku during all of this and Goku was able to sense them from the very beginning.

Here's some i just recently discovered in Budokai 1 you can't do custom battles without a memory card pluged in it's the same with player two. You get around this by selecting a character and choose custom than unplug the memory card and plug it in slot two so you can do custom battles

Personally, I think the reason Piccolo doesn't get the charge speed change like Nail or Slug is because while yes, he's a Namekian, he's also the reincarnation of Demon King Piccolo.. keyword being Demon. Maybe the devs did it as a nod to his origins & the fact that he's not from Namek.

You figuring out the rhythm on your own for the "Perfect Vanish" section rather than using my tutorial, is impressive. Good work on that. Some extra notes here for that part; every single Super Explosive Wave is a x7 vanish. Depending on how far the opponent is from you when the move launches, it can be anywhere from x6 down to x2 vanishes, giving you ample time to even punish the SEW. All SEWs on regular parts of the stage will be x7, but if you're up against the wall, it will become x12 vanish, and if you're using a giant - even on regular parts of the stage - it will be x12 to x14 depending on which move it is. Afterimage Strike follows its own path but giants also follow that same vanish path. It probably has something to do w/ their size & the vanishing spawn system that giants specifically have. Again, good work on finding that out on your own. Going through that section I was wondering if you actually used my tutorial or not; impressed to see you put the time in to find it yourself.

So here's a couple crazy discoveries I saw on another video if you're interested. 1. Characters can bend their beam attacks with the camera controls when they're locked off from an opponent, kind of like how Kid Goku does during the original Dragon Ball! I'm not sure how many characters this applies to, but i thought it was pretty neat. 2. Berserker Kale gets a bigger status buff when against Goku compared to other characters when she enters Sparking, referencing her insecure jealousy towards him in Super when he's interacting with Caulifla!
