Very nice. I went with the rear finish mower for my B2601, but they both have their pros and cons. I sure wish I had those R14 tires! And I'd love to get a set of pallet forks at some point. Keep up the great work!

💥 I like that drive over mower system more than the easy over deck for the BX. Looks like you’re having some Springtime fun with you machine! This is my favorite time of year! Keep on tractoring!

A RITTER BIT WILL DO Before I got the B2601 I had a BX2680. I agree, the drive over is an easier install. One reason is that I have more ground clearance with the B. Thanks for visiting my channel. Cheers!

Good day Michael! LOL. I was waiting to see if you were going to remove that side step. Excellent step by step on re-attaching the belly mower. Very nice editing and video work by your wife! Love the new overalls! Happy mowing and all the best to you and your wife!

Paul and Kathy Short make a step just for the B2601 with the Mid-Mount Mower installed. They have a lot of really cool stuff for Kubota tractors over at Specialty Repairs Custom Mods.com

Nice video, I have had my 2601 since 2016 with zero issues, not even a slight leak. I also got the belly mower with mine and take it on and off several times a month during the the mowing season to work in the garden. The only issues I have had on the mower is the grip tape on the front top of the mowing deck is showing some wear; however I found skate board sized sheets of it for around $10 on amazon and plan to replace them this winter. When you drive over the deck to reattach, I have found I can lower the link arms with pins retracted and get them to drag the deck a bit to get everything to line up perfect. There is sort of a sweet spot of leaning over to see the deck line up with the link arms and keeping the safety switch on the seat mashed to keep the tractor running. Thanks for sharing!

Love my B2601, bought it about 2mo. ago. Got mine with a grapple and a box blade...so versatile. Also got pallet forks - must have! ...I see you bought yours at Olson's power equipment, me too... We're probably pretty close. Enjoy your channel, keep up the good work.

How did you hook up the pto shaft? You didn't show the actual process. Do you have to lay on the mower to reach in? I'm finding that to be a problem with all these mmm setups. Sometimes it's very difficult to do.
@peacefieldfarm_mn4 жыл бұрын
Gary BAUMANN Hi Gary, you have to lay on the floor and push the PTO shaft onto the tractor PTO. Not too bad though. Thanks for the question.

How's she goin'? I like the size of your Kubota!!! That mower goes on pretty quick. That will be a great thing down the road, you know, for when we get older!!! LOL I like being able to store attachments on the dolleys. I can't do that as I store mine in a shed with a gravel floor. Nice video. Thanks for posting. Take 'er easy!!

Great Video. Makes the manual look worthless. Where did you get the after-market step.
@peacefieldfarm_mn4 жыл бұрын
Hi Charles, Thanks for watching. The step shown comes from Kubota, at the dealer it is a step for the B2650, but the mounting holes are in the B2601 too. I do have an aftermarket step that I sell which fits on the mower deck. See my video #18 for info on that. Cheers!

Nice tractor PF. I have a B2601 being delivered in about a week. I'm getting a 54" belly mower and I was wondering what size deck you have. I'm also getting turf tires, after reading all these comments on different reviews saying how happy everyone is with the R14 tires, I hope I'm not making a mistake. Thanks for all the info.
@peacefieldfarm_mn4 жыл бұрын
Jeff Petermann Hi Jeff thanks for stopping by. You are going to live your new tractor! The turf tires will work just fine for you. My deck is 60 inch. Cheers!
@jeffpetermann98144 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply, I'm also getting the FEL and grapple, should be fun! Did you add liquid to your tires and do you feel you need any more ballast weight in the back when your using your loader and grapple?
@peacefieldfarm_mn4 жыл бұрын
Jeff Petermann I always have something on the back when using something on the front. I keep my box blade on in the winter when I have my snow plow on, and my carry-all on when using the grapple.
@charleshoyt81914 жыл бұрын
One more question - with the mower installed do you have to disengage the PTO while using the 3 Pt hitch for another implement? Thanks.
@peacefieldfarm_mn4 жыл бұрын
You can run either the mid PTO or the rear PTO separately or run them at the same time if you want.
@gman76403 жыл бұрын
I would like to kick in a few thing if I can, Your front hook up pivot seems to be very stiff. You may want to lubricate that before she jams up on you. Also, you seem to be mowing with your anti scalp wheels in the wront position. According to Kubota, they are not supposed to be in constant contact with the ground. The mower is supposed to be suspended and the wheels should only contact the ground when the mower is about to hit a bump.
@peacefieldfarm_mn3 жыл бұрын
You are correct, Gman. I will adjust those anti scalp wheels before I use it again. Thanks for tuning in! Cheers!

What is the model number for that mower? Mine is rck60-24B, and I can't figure out if it is a drive over or not.
@peacefieldfarm_mn3 жыл бұрын
My mower deck is RCK60-32. If yours came with the little black ramps that are shown on the video and heavy gauge covers over the blade spindles then it is probably a drive over deck. You could give your Kubota dealer a call with your model number and they could tell you too. Cheers

Do r4s damage your lawn?(nice lawn!)
@peacefieldfarm_mn4 жыл бұрын
Hey RG, thanks for watching! The R14 tires don’t damage my lawn at all, but I don’t really have any real tight turns. Even if I did i could steer a couple not so sharp turns to replace one sharp one. This is my second winter on these tires, they are impressive!

How is the cut with the belly mower?
@peacefieldfarm_mn4 жыл бұрын
The cut with the belly mower is great. As with any side discharge mower, if you wait too long between mowing, you’re going to get some build-up, but otherwise it’s very good. Also very maneuverable. I would not like trying to manage a finish mower behind me!
