He felt like if Hannah Baker was actually fulfilling and worked well. He felt very real compared to everyone. The best part was everyone helping Tyler, and Tyler felt like a burden to everyone after. He was actually relatable. From what I have seen and expirenced, when you attempt hurting your self or others and tell someone, they will try to help you out of obligation. They don't want anyone to be hurt. You feel angry hearing that. This season was much better than season 2.

Her character was a red herring. They hinted they maybe Bryce did something bad to her and her killing him would be the “twist" at the end. I'm pretty sure that's why everything started out with her washing a shirt that is looks like is covered with blood.

It felt so forced to just have this new girl magically come in right after spring fling and become a major part of every main character's lives. I feel that it was very lazy writing. I wouldn't say that I hated her character but I found her unnecessary. Why not continue with Clay being the "main character" and leading us through the story. The first two seasons tried to show us that Clay always has everything worked out and is a leader but all of a sudden we are expected to see him as weak and in need of the help of someone he's only recently met. If you have been friends with someone for less than a year would you tell them your mildest secrets? No, you wouldn't, but these characters instantly trust her and tell them all about their awful childhoods and why they may murder someone. This season made me lose my love for the characters. They all became soft and dumb

Winston should play a real major role because at the end of S3 Winston tells Ani that Monty didn't kill Bryce, but when I watched this Ani seems kinda guilty I think Winston saw that face and might reopen the Bryce case and reveal who's the real killer and who covered it up. But I'm not sure if the writers are gonna do it, S4 is the last reason and I don't know if they should focus on the Bryce case and see the actual truth.

I thought she was the murderer she looked so guilty 1. In one scene, Bryce tells Clay he has no idea who Ani truly was and that she'd done crazy things 2. She mentioned Jess's mirror reference before it was revealed that Bryce mentioned that in his tape, did she listened to it first? 3. She wanted conflict between Clay and Bryce, she denied kissing both Bryce and Clay (that they made the first move) when she CLEARLY made the first move 4. She even claimed in her narrator she wanted Clay to feel jealous when she was with Bryce and even hinted she wasnt who she said she was and lying wasnt a big deal for her 5. Clay even suspected Ani but we never see any follow ups about that 6 she fucken fabricated the whole story but we dont clearly see how she was able to out it al together 8. During homecoming, she was seen in two different scenes leaving away from the football feild 9. I felt like she was giving Clay false leads and pointing blame to anyone 10. Also she found the watch, she was with Bryce when he mentioned the watch and when they confronted Seth, before he could say anything important shes the one that throws the bag to Seth, it was hard to see but I rewind it an surely it was her! To be honest, Bryce’s death didn’t really satisfy me. I felt like the first 2 seasons, they were showing you the worst of Bryce. But this season, they were trying to show you the best aspects of Bryce. To make you feel like he shouldn’t have died. Make you feel like as much as you wanted him dead, it wouldn’t change a thing. Ani was annoying and just seemed like she was filling the role of Hannah. Everybody else did fantastic, but I didn’t have an emotional connection to Ani since she just showed up randomly.

Honestly, Monty's death felt a little bit off to me. Usually, when people die on the show, they show like the body and everything that led up to the exact moment. But for Monty, it was so random and off. Like, the cop randomly goes 'Monty's dead' and that's the end of Monty's story. It just felt so rushed and kinda suspicious. Honestly, I hope there is some crazy theory for season 4 where they explain Monty is alive or something like that. Am I the only one who feels bad for Monty? Like Ik he did some really fucked up things, especially with what he did to Tyler (which yes, he does deserve to go to jail for), but I can't help but wonder if maybe he could've changed? I kinda feel like he's one of those troubled guys who are just a decent person trying to escape from the insides... Monty was clearly being abused at home, and had been suffering from internalized homophobia (which was amplified from the clear homophobia at home). Like I genuinely feel like that's the reason why he was always so aggressive towards people. I think that Winston could've genuinely changed him and that they could've had a good story arch and have Monty some sort of redemption, despite his horrible actions towards many of the characters in the show. They could've really went through abuse at home and internalized homophobia but they didn't this season. And they killed him off, so the opportunity is gone. I kinda hope that the reason the death was off screen was because he didn't actually die. Maybe he was just out into a critical condition or a coma, who knows? But I would like to see more of Monty in the next season. Oh and they need to get rid of that bitch Ani..she's so annoying lol

i think we'll never be able to answer that. monty was a complex character that deserved more time on screen, what we can get now is that his father abused him, that he was so far in the closet cause of his dad homophobia, he was often high on drugs and used steroid, he was always angry and took it off on other people hurting them, he had to play because he needed a scholarship, his only real friend was bryce and considered him a brother he admired, he basically only knew violence and fear. i'm in no way justifying him, just analyzing his character. what could he have became with therapy? we don't know, we can't know if he would have ever regretted his MANY HORRIBLE mistakes and tried to amend to them in his lifetime so we can't know if he would have ever became a good boyfriend or not. were they cute? yes they were. did i want them together NOW? absolutely not.

I so want it to have just been a rumor about Monty's death and have him actually still be alive. Yes he did bad things but that scene with Winston showed he wanted to be better. He just really needed someone to show him it's ok to be gay and for him to get away from his father.

First question, where the hell were Marcus, Sheri, Ryan and Courtney? We saw Courtney like once but they completely got rid of the rest. Second, Monty deserved a second chance, he shouldn’t have been killed to keep the story going. My prediction for season 4, Winston will investigate what Ani really said and will find the truth. Also, i feel like the only reason why Ani was written was to show that Bryce could change, but she wasn’t really needed. Sorry not sorry.
