Everything you said is true! So rare. Buying a cover for your bag (under $20.00 very often) is also good for locating your lost bag. Always remember to also take picture of contents of bag.

@@roadjesstraveled I'm living in Florida now so I think it makes sense to do Caribbean, maybe western Caribbean. Hopefully do it on the cheap. We booked 9 nights at Occidental at Xcaret , playa del Carmen for $1300 all inclusive and got free airline tickets from Miami to Cancun from the American airline credit card sign on bonus.

Wow! That’s an amazing deal. Which travel agent did you blackmail? 😂

@@roadjesstraveled well first I signed up for AA credit card and used it to buy everything I would usually buy like bills and whatever else until I meet the minimum spending amount to receive the sign on bonus , important to pay full balance every month so I don't pay a penny in interest. Then I cut the credit card up and wait to receive my sign up bonus. (50,000 miles I think) Then I spend just about every free time I have researching the best deals on different places I can go for the least amount of money ( probably 100hrs lol). Then I use my miles to book tickets for free and book resort. I book vacations about 6-12 months in advance, I book my next vacation as soon as I get back from vacation typically. I have never spent less than 7 nights in Mexico on a trip and have never spent more than a $1000 per person. I am obsessed lol . Did the same thing with IHG hotels and have stayed 18 nights for free .

Hmmm perhaps you should be the one with the youtube channel! My next video is actually about travel hacking using points! So smart.

Love this video! One thing that I learned and wanted to share with you is to look for a duffle bag that best fits your luggage and has all the wonderful features a bag can have especially in plane travel use. I'm using Nomad Lane's Bento Bag and it's a good choice.

Great tip on the air tag. We always check our luggage so it’s just less crap we have to deal with on the plane….however it is at the risk of losing luggage. Knock on wood, that hasn’t happened to us. But it has to people I know, so I will definitely do this next time. Thanks!

Anytime, thanks for watching! I totally get wanting to check luggage for a lighter load, especially with kids.

Charles Schwab Bank also reimburse all ATM fees......I have checked in black luggage but I tie thin Xmas ribbon on all the handles so I can see it coming around the carousel in baggage claim!
