Having hdmi connected to the TV during remote play does not lead to rendering two feeds as you make it sound... it still only renders one. But some people MAY need to disconnect their hdmi because PS5 does seem to have an issue where it leads to lag with remote play. I believe this depends on TV model or perhaps 120hz models specifically. Why some people say reduce ps5 settings to 1080/60 instead... but this is NOT necessary for most people.

10:36 If that's true, sony should release an update to disable hdmi during remote play.. Because constantly plugging and unplugging the hdmi cable isn't a good idea.. You'll be sending your ps5 in for repair in no time.... Great vid...
