I got it mainly for call of duty cause it's one of the games listed as enhanced. Problem is their is no enhance toggle in the game settings like it does for every other enhanced game 🤷🏽

You have to play Days Gone on the new PS5 Pro. To me, it's the best example of what the new system can do. Days Gone is also the best game I've ever played on Playstation. I really hope Sony makes Days Gone 2.

Btw on PS5 Pro after turning off ALLM I played the old LOTR games and both Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War run on approx 50fps, which is finally playable for me. Also the PSSR did marvel with Shadow of Mordor, which I am replaying right now. Ten years old game 😀 The same "kinda upgrade" I've registered with AC Syndicate (finally) and RDR2, although lot of visible graphic artifacts interefere in RDR2. But it definitrly runs much smoother. Turn off ALLM and see for yourself. It is in the screen and video settings. These 4 games I wanted to play in smoother regime and both PS5 and Xbox series X could not make it. PS5 Pro did it for me. And those people endlessly repeating there is no difference should by better TV. I myself have LG Oled C1 83 inches and it does incredible difference btw PS5 and PS5 pro. Cheers.

Tinker. Some games default to pro enhancements, others prompt you to choose the settings the first time you play the game. Games like gt7 have like 4 options you can tinker with giving you 16 combinations to try. Some games you want the granularity like gt7 cuz some settings will effect vr so you have to consider that, others it's straight forward

@scoobysnax3813 I believe the ps5 enhancement options is only available when using a 4k (possibly 2k as well) device. Basically the enhancements are specific to upscaling visuals. Performance enhancements for ps4 games essentially happen automatically due to the improved ram and GPU.

I'm actually testing it for review right now... honestly first impressions, because it's 27" the 4K is not a deal breaker. Playing QHD close up to the screen seems to be more than enough. I'm used to playing on a 65" OLED and I don't notice a huge graphics difference at all. It's very good so far!

If you want games like Arma reforger and new system demanding games to run smoothly with maxed out graphics in full servers you will need a ps5 pro as these games are so demanding a regular ps5 will have crashing issues , system too hot issues , choppy frames when i swithed to pro all that went away and the graphics are insane will wait till i can afford a tv with 120 hz then it will be even better but quite honeslty its a dream with the pro glad i got it

@ after setting it up I had everything mirrored to my normal ps5, the pro worked fine on the Home Screen with 4k but every time I open a game no matter what it was would put the system to 1080p but still tell me it was reading 4k, closing the game would put it back to 4k but couldn’t play a game above 1080p and then would crash anyways, plugged my normal ps5 back into the same monitor same setting and can play games 4k 120hz 🤷🏼‍♂️ I sent the pro back as it was clearly faulty 👎🏻

Try out burnout paradise on the PS5 pro it's a PS4 game. It looks so clean on the PS5 pro the dents scrapes scratches broken glass ECT on the vehicles in the game every detail pops so much better then on the base ps5

I ended up getting it myself. Mainly because I already own a bunch of disc games and blu rays...if you don't have discs already you'll probably be fine without it. Although one upside might be for some reason disc games are often cheaper than digital. But, with that said you'd probably have to buy a lot of disc games before you made your money back on the price of the disc drive.

@ hello my friend I hope you are well? It would depend if you have the right setup? If you have a top TV or monitor then most definitely. I have been on Series X since the day it was released. I only used my old PS5 to play Call Of Duty with cross-play off. The series X is better than the standard PS5 but the Pro is definitely better than both of them. It really depends on you though and your setup and what games you play if it will really benefit you? Also take in mind the new Xbox and PlayStation will not be out for a good 3-5 years and the new Pro has technology which will evolve and get better over time so newer games will be taking advantage of this. I do prefer the Xbox menus though and the layout. I mainly play COD and it’s a game changer, graphic and performance wise plus I get the crossplay option with PlayStation which is a huge thing as the game is riddled with PC cheats. I have tested BO6, Warzone, GTA, Read Dead Redemption, FIFA 25, Battlefield, Fortnite, UFC, WWE 2K24, plus there is 65 titles which are Pro enhanced so far like Spider-Man, The Last Of Us, God Of War etc.. My honest opinion 10/10 so far I love it.

Games that were stuttering they still do. Black myth wukong is one, baldurs gate, final fantasy 16 and many others. I feel sony did this to recover from the concord failure. But if people find out that this is a fake advertisement is going to create a new failure and they will have to reimburse our money again. The bottleneck again is huge they’re squeezing that CPU TOO MUCH, that can create overheating overtime. I think sony should have create a new zen 2 not overlocking the old one” a new zen 2 with the power to run at 4.55 instead of 3.85 and pair with the new GPU BOOM 💥. A real piece of machine. That has the value of $700. For me it feels and runs a roughly 10% better that you can’t even notice. Black Myth hasn't been patched for the pro. I wouldn't play games until they are patched to be optimized. The developer has to do it. That game is not that old. It's not Sonys fault. The pro just came out. You have to be patient. That's how software development works. Eventually it will get patched as for many other games.

Dude, I just played SM2 on fidelity and it looks INSANE and looks smooth af!! Idk how it's 30fps but I just came from regular ps5 and that thing looked choppy. Performance pro is dope butt... if fidelity pro gonna be like this on others, that might be my new to

Nope majority of the people on the planet can't afford to spend $2000 for a high end PC rig. PC gaming is very expensive. It's not plug in play. PC ports are not always optimized by the way. Sony doesn't put all of their games on PC. Fps on PC are full of millions of people cheating using hacks they paid for on cheat sites. More cons of owning a PC versus a console. Sony has been selling well worldwide since psone PS2 best selling console of all time. Naa most people prefer console. Cost effective.

Forget pro gamer think pro consumer the ps5 pro doesn’t do much difference from the base pa5 so save your money and get the option that gives you more for your money

I have a Series X and a PS5 slim and I have the PS5 Pro and if you have the correct TV or monitor it absolutely destroys the Series X and the base PS5. Xbox has been sold now lol 😂

I think coming from a background of reviewing lots of smartphones, it's easy to make the same case there too. But... the reality is there's always people willing to pay for the best regardless of how much better it is.

@@WhatGear problem is to many comment and be negative when they have never even tried it in person for there self. There will always be negative and good reviews on everything but the only way to actually know is to try for yourself. Trust me I would send back if it was not that great. I’m Xbox through and through but honestly on a LG C4 83 inch this console to me is outstanding and I’m extremely happy with the purchase.

@ it’s unreal seriously. I am hoping Warzone will get a enhancement patch like BO6 as it’s the main game I play and also the fact that PlayStation give an in game crossplay option so it just makes it even more sweeter so for me personally it’s just the perfect option when it comes to gaming. I will miss Forza though but I’m going to give Gran Turismo a try 😊

Well I have a Series X and the PS5 Pro is much better? It’s not just about GPU though visuals and frame rate is most important thing in my book when playing a game. The advanced raytracing and the AI driven upscaling. I have tested both the same games on the Series X and the Pro and the Pro has come out on top on all of them in how it looks and how it runs and I’m a Xbox fan but unfortunately the proof is in the pudding and I’m keeping the Pro now 😊 yes £699 is a little high but the 2tb Xbox is £549.99 but for me personally I rather pay a bit more for the added features. I would of happily returned the Pro back to Argos for a refund but again unfortunately it’s awesome so the Xbox is being sold and that is from my own judgement from what I have seen with my own eyes. What I will say though is if you don’t have a top TV or monitor then don’t bother with the Pro.
