It's finally done!
I took a little bit of "creative liberty" with this one, i wanted to try some effects, practicing backgrounds and lipsync (wich kinda sucks cuz' it's my first time trying it out).

I also wanted to explain what those "chains" represent
Those are just frisk's actions, all his wrong doings and sins, trapping him forever no matter how much he tries, you can't run away from your past, and
even when you think you're free, consequences will arrive sooner or later (chara).
also, i see chara as a girl and frisk as a boy.
chara just sounds more like a girl name to me, and the rosey cheeks and all that just make me see chara as a girl.
frisk it's supposed to represent US right?
i just took that concept and make frisk a boy cuz' i'm a male door :D
about the animation
this took me a little less than two months
17 fps and about 1400+ frames
and YES I USE FLIPACLIP.
as for what the next animation it's going to be about...

1:52 I really like the juxtaposition of Sans and Chara in nearly identical places relative to Frisk. It's not something I really thought of before now, but they actually serve very, very similar roles. Both of them function to punish the player at the end of Genocide - equally detesting your actions throughout. They both serve as your judges, and although Chara is perhaps a bit more twisted than Sans, at the end of the day they really are of similar mindsets. (Hell, even in pacifist Chara's menu narration demonstrates that he/she/they had a fondness for puns).

Because I know someone in my class that has a lot in common with me but she hates me. I actually wanna be friends with her tho.. anyway, it’s kind of the way with da comedian and da chair. I feel at home. Like Shakespeare’s plays with Appearance vs Reality in Hamlet (which, by the way, Hamlet’s name is actually an anagram for a prior play that was similar to Skakespeare’s but the protagonist’s name was Amleth), I also know that both Chara and Frisk are both suspects and victims in the genocide run (Reality) but in my mind, the thought of Frisk being controlled by Chara to perform such actions is just so satisfying to think of and if a new person were to finish the game, they would think that Chara is evil (Appearance). Just thought I would share that.

I like that at the beginning, Chara's eyes are grey which I think means that after being deceased for such a long time they lost their DT. And then later Chara's eyes are red, symbolling that Frisk was not the one that was collecting the LV, but Chara. Maybe I'm overthinking this but I just thought that was a cool detail.

3:05 Looks like Frisk is trying to spare Chara or something. Also, this video is giving me this whole new perspective on a possible idea of... I don't know if I should say AU, or theory, or something? I know that Frisk is kind of known as this ambiguous protagonist (and I'm not too sure about Chara), but I'm just going to refer to Frisk as him and Chara as her for simplicity's sake. But what if Chara was sort of there the whole time, her anger slowly piling up as time passed by until Frisk fell. What if Chara possessed Frisk from the start, causing him to almost flash in and out of consciousness. Instead of the usual idea of going so far that Frisk can no longer control himself and letting Chara take over, what if Chara took over from the very beginning and Frisk simply came back into control at random moments with no memory of what had happened aside from a sort of 'sixth sense' guiding him. Instead of being forced to watch passively, he would be forced back into a familiar life doing things he might have never imagined himself doing. I'm sure such of form of... amnesia(?) would be frustrating and also allow his own sense of anger to build up as well, the resulting confusion also not helping. And scenes like (1:50) Frisk watching Chara's devilish smile flicker to Sans' could also be a result of either the mental conflict with said 'possession' (Such as trying to resist Chara's control, but being aware of it in the first place kind of defeats the purpose of this idea, so I guess there's one of many possible holes in the idea.), or hallucinations afflicting him as a result of all of said trauma. I don't know, I know that people have already come up with countless ideas for the true Undertale story outside of the endings and it might have already been figured out/revealed with me forgetting or being unaware, but this is just an interesting idea/concept I had thought of while watching this. (Who knows, someone could have thought of the exact same thing before me and I could end up none the wiser.)
