I was "friends" with such a person for about 5 years. All signs mentioned in the video applied to that person. When I broke off contact with that person, I really felt relieved. At the beginning I used to blame myself why I was "friends" with him for so long, but now I consider it as a great life lesson!

I was burnt by so called friend for over a decade, the signs you very subtle but consistent. Red flags seemed annoyed by Anything Positive in my life, She had loads of interest in negative events, my vulnerabilities, later discovered she was using info behind my back to undermine my creditability, reputation, career success, Baited info out of me under disguise of concern, all while she was sharing with my adult daughter to cause division amongst my own kids. Disgusting to say the least,along with wasting 3 yrs as her legal intern and chose not to list on resume or as reference since I started to see her covert, gaslighting tactics

My friend calls me ugly behind my back. Mutual friends tell me. They tell me he says, "I don't see how he gets any women at all. He's one of the ugliest people I've ever seen." Another thing he does us when we're in front of other people, I will tell them something I'm doing or something about myself and he always makes a perverted or toilet joke out of it, and he always looking at everyone else while he says it. He tries to make it sound lighthearted but idk seems pretty obvious to me

I have a friend like that right now but I’m planning on ending the friendship soon. I discovered that my other friends are now cold towards me because of this so called friend who I introduced to my group of friends.

A lot of my mutual friends don't like my friend either. His neighbor won't share a J with him because he says he's dirty. So when we go over there he gives us all our own. He creeps on every girl or group of females we happen upon also. I guess these people have personality disorders or something

Dealt with this with a family member I ended up working with. I had to sit next to this Demon for 2 whole years. I tried ignoring it and giving her grace until I couldn't take it anymore and snapped on her at work in front of everyone. She then said I was soft and sensitive, wasn't a man and lacked confidence. Then she gaslighted me, saying that she never said any of the things I said she said. She then poisioned coworkers against me, other family members and even dissed me on social media, saying she should have seen the red flags. Her own red flags she meant? She's the insecure, jealous luntatic. I tried talking to her three times outside of work, and she refused to have the talk before I snapped because she didn't want to be held accountable for her behavior. I had no ill will towards her, and she's always been one of my favorite people, so all of this blinsighted me. My mother also passed away the same month we started working together, and I was going through an internal deep depression. You would have thought she'd take that into consideration. Thankfully, we no longer work together anymore. Because we're family, I tolerate her on an as need basis, but I stay stay from her now. Deep down, inside, I hate her. I know I'm 'not supposed to say that', but I do. She never apologized nor acknowledged her behavior, and I still resent her for that. Thankfully, all the things she said to put me down, I dont feel that way about myself, thank God. So her intent to make me feel less, never worked in spite of what she thought. It just angered me due the lack of respect that she showed me. Crazy that people are so imsecure and jealous inside that they create enemies out of people who actually love them and who would do anything for them.

Definitions from Oxford Languages Jealous friend?? There is an English word, called: "acquaintance". I might have tons of grammar mistakes from time to time. My vocabulary might be rather limited. But all of sudden, I feel like my English proficiency is better than so many people, including native English speaker.

*when they compare education* You didn't even go to high school....that's true for a lot of these people. It's not only 'unsupportive', these are actions that will put them in prison, which id be happy to make happen. 🖕
