You can see that phenomenon in the Oscar's and the motion picture industry and TV Emmy s. You ever notice Steve Spielberg never received an Oscar for production until long long after he deserved one. He should have had one for Jaws e t close encounters. Johnny carson should have had one long long before he got an Emmy. I heard johnny talking one night and he said it was a noted trait with the industry that they'll help you most of the way up until you get too high then they stop helping you.which matched my own theories.

Because I actually don’t have horse blinders on, it’s just that others peoples success does not knock me off my rock. My capabilities are my own, same for others, all we can truly do is be the best we are capable of, so why not focus on that instead of “I want to be better than that guy”? And yes, successful people are very inspirational for me as well (my faves), people deserve the good they have, beyond what others think…watch, learn and applaud! Jealous people seem to have a fearful sense “there’s not enough to go around”, or they’re simply “not good enough”, so they plot how to steal, kill, and cheat others out of what we have. Be careful.

Jealousy or envy is a natural emotion and tells you what you really want instead of bashing the person you are jealous of, you should try working on achieving those things quietly because you want them so much. Yet some people try to bring others down instead of getting good things themselves.
@SuccessFormulas2 жыл бұрын
I agree
@FyreStartr Жыл бұрын
I highly disagree. Jealousy and envy are very unnatural. You can know what you want without jealousy confirming it for you. When I was in college I had a friend who took some time off to become a flight attendant. I’ve always wanted to travel, but I cannot explain the genuine excitement I had for her. I told myself after college I would travel. I would even envision her having fun and enjoying her time in New York because that’s where she was stationed. I also had never been out on my own so there was also a thrill of seeing someone who could just up and leave and not fear being on their own. Not one time did I feel envy or jealousy. Only happiness for her because some people deserve to be happy and enjoy their lives. People keep getting jealousy and envy confused. They’re both emotions. There are many successful people in the world. Wanting to be successful as well isn’t jealousy/ envy BUT wanting what THEY have, exactly what they have from car, wife, house, dog etc., that’s the emotion of jealousy and envy. My story for example, everyone at some point will want to travel, and that’s natural, but feeling jealousy for those who can is unnatural. It’s stupid to do so because the harder and lord you work at some point it will be experienced. It will never be a natural emotion.

Numbers 1, 4, 9, and 12 are why I just ended my connection with someone. Funny that once you work on yourself and outgrow your own insecurities, it's a lot easier to recognize unhealthy relationships and to walk away without regret.

Same. I just realized 3 days ago my sister was jealous bc I am doing shadow work, healing past childhood trauma, and according to her “I’m being consumed of my past, I live in the past, and need to get over it.” And she doesn’t like hearing about it bc “I only talk about dark things.” Whatever that means.. She’s still in an abusive relationship and gets cheated on every day, yet still allows him to live with her. Then I realized she never complimented me, never addressed how far I have come, and when I told my therapist she confirmed that it sounded she was insecure that I was doing the inner work and she hasn’t done any.

@@zaylinstar8883 Hopefully at some point your sister will come to a state of readiness and begin to embrace the opportunity to grow and the distance between you will cease to remain. Until then, your number one priority has to be you and your inner peace or it's impossible to sustain healthy relationships. Edited to say: Congratulations on your growth!💪 Be proud of yourself every day for how far you've come!

Plus he have a tourist visa and his family well off in his country and We was thinking about owning property in his country together lol and also he don’t need me lol. He have a car, his own house, a salary from his parents. She didn’t respond after I show how he actually love me and we been dating for awhile. Why would I tell u I’m getting married after a year lol. I have a group of women i go to Church with. We're in a text group and pray for each other, give each other advice, etc. I notice that if someone is having an emergency or health issue, automatically this one particular friend always chimes in with an urgent problem that needs immediate attention. Or if you have awesome news, she'll say that she's won a ticket to a concert or is going on holiday. She always tries to one-up us. It's quite sad.

I had a friend/colleague who had it all. Big house, swimmingpool, cars, RV, situated husband, good looks... In comparison to her I was a little poor mouse, except that I have the looks (not gonna be fake modest here). After hanging out for some time I noticed she is starting to dress as me, we would go together shopping and if I liked something a lot she would buy it after some time and when I would dress up she would constantly criticise me how I'm just "too much" to the point that I wanted to go home and change into a jeans and T-shirt. End of our friendship came when our mutual colleagues said that they like working with me because I'm laughing a lot and helping others. That was too much for her.

A jealous person invited me to dinner and every dish had the one thing that I'm allergic to. She knew this and despite me catching on quick to her scheme and playing it off as an 'understandable mistake', she insisted on going overboard to whip up something else. While it might have appeared to come from a generous and accommodating place, it was all theatre to highlight how I was so 'difficult'. Sometimes jealousy plays out in very subtle but nasty ways. The intention is always the same though, to take away something from you while making them look better.

Experienced this towards me, particularly bullying, my entire adult life. I’m now 42 and it continues, many women struggle to be kind and they cause plenty trouble. Workplaces are terrible for this! The only difference is, for me now I’m older, that tge more it happens, the better I’m able to handle it, however handling it better causes them to believe that I think I’m better than everyone else, which is absolutely not the case! I’ve even been targeted because of my walk… apparently, I walk with confidence and they don’t like it. There’s always something, they never leave me alone! What they don’t realise is that if the pushed their emotions to one side and took the time to actually get to know me, they’d gain a very good and loyal friend 🤷♀️

Oh yeah, I know this. Trying to be over their immature behavior and the constant manipulation and insults can look like you're avoiding them. That's when they try to explain it to themselves that there's something wrong with you by claiming you feel superior to them. No way! I don’t think I am superior to you (you=jealous person). The thing is you believe it about yourself, that YOU are inferior. You have an insecurity and you obssess about it thats why you think other people dislike you. My problem with you is not your flaws, which we all have, but your constant disrespect towards me and your immaturity. Just deal with your insecurities at last so you finally stop comparing yourself to others. I am here to only do my share of work and I count on productive cooperation with my colleagues. I dont care about your personal private life or what you did right or wrong in your life. Geez. Who cares? All the best to you! (you=commentator)

I’ve started to stop giving these people any information I am polite , but now refrain from giving them any kind of details. I’ve totally blanked a comment made by a previous gossiper, or when they ask a question I simply say that that information is not for the public domain. Or simply say I must get on I’m busy.😊.. I am of the opinion that we all deal with jealous people at one point of another. Sometimes you just have to laugh it off, which will serve to temporarily disarm them. I hate jealousy so much (which is a strong word for me to use) when I see it in peoples behavior it makes me begin to hate the person for being so damn audaciously low. For the most part, there's no such thing as "friends" when you become an adult. The only real friendships you can have are those you form with kids from your childhood. Otherwise, what passes for friendships are mostly just relationships of convenience...you think you can get something from the other person and the other person thinks the same thing about you.
