These days that schools enforce are stressful for most parents, but imagine how stressful it is for those parents who have hardly any money 😔. I think it’s terribly irresponsible of schools. One a year should be enough. Thanks as always for a great video xxx

I was being charged $12 a month for my checking account and $ 5.00 for my savings from my bank as service fees. I cancelled that bank and switched to another one with no monthly fees. We share our subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu and HBO max with our children so we each pay for only one

Crazy that a bank charges to hold you money that they are making money from.

What colour do you use on your hair please? The colour looks so lovely xx
@TheMummyBubble2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I use the garnier nutrisse range in the light ash blonde shade. This has gone on over highlighted hair (I haven't been to the hairdressers now in about 15 months so there's still some of it underneath the layers of hair dye). It's really hard to know how your hair will react to colour, so I really recommend tons of research, and don't try to lift it too many levels with hair dye, as it will come out brassy in the case of blondes anyway. I also use purple shampoo and a toner occasionally as well just to get rid of brassy tones.

I do not get where all this must buy must have , changing your wardrobe, your home decor even your furniture every yr /so often/house move came from. I'd say social media but it was normalised way before this. Yes we see ads everywhere but you do not need to buy anything from them every time you see them etc. It's all ppl with insecurities and no personalities that are desperate to fit in and fit in with the herd like sheep that fuel this stuff. Develop your own personality and style.. Be your unique self. Also this snacking culture and the need to eat all the time is outrageous. This is where the UK 's obesity problem has part of its roots. We used to eat 3 meals a day and were quite capable of going to the shops without needing to stuff cakes and Greggs down etc.. ok so you might get thirsty but we always ate meals at home.You are not going to starve to death. The cost of just not eating snacks all the time whether at the shops, out for the day or in front of the tv must be astronomical from what I observe.

Yes to all of this. The snacking culture thing is something we really struggle with as the kids are really sucked in by it and trying to keep their diet healthy takes effort - we basically have to not take them with us to the supermarket.

Absolutely, I often think about this. There school trips to fund as well, and events like discos and fairs, plus the dress up days. This sounds really fuddy duddy of me to say, but when I was little I swear we had just one non-uniform day a year for charity where we just wore our normal clothes and that was it. My kids have at least two themed dress-up occasions per term and we don't always have the stuff required on hand. It can add over £100 to the annual spend on school related stuff, which must really add to people's financial stresses.

@@TheMummyBubble gosh that’s bonkers! I think schools should be avoiding all of this. Isn’t Christmas jumper day a thing at school now too?

I'm not a parent but the schools point is just making me angry. It is so out of touch in this day and age in a cost of living crisis for schools to put these things which lets face it add nothing but a financial burden. When i was younger the only thing we had at school was one day at the end of term when we could wear our own clothes and bring games in to play etc and it NEVER cost us money
@lemonteapot10612 ай бұрын
@@AthynVixen 100% agree and schools who participate in this should be ashamed quite frankly.
