@@nicklindsey8036 Unfortunately I'm not from the US so I don't know how much it is to travel outside the country. I came to China to work and I was fortunate enough that my company paid for my flights which is quite a regular thing here if you come to teach. I'm not rich and did not come with much money but came to work. If you qualify for the working visa then this opportunity is available to everyone no matter how much money you have.

i have been to hongkong before,it has the same rate as thailand..so it really depends on how much you are willing to spend,how many days you want to stay,how many places you want to visit..as a tourist,i just spend three days on hongkong,finding a cheap hotels,eating on cheap restaurants,eating those delicious street foods,haggling with vendors and travelling in public busses..three days just to feel the city and the people...overall the experience is nice..so if you are just there for a tour for three days,a few thousand dollars is enough🤗😄🤗
@Nicofilms5 жыл бұрын
@@johnkiel1000 It also depends on how you live your life and what you find important. Travel is important to me so I sacrifice things to save for it. I didn't have a good phone or car I rarely went out I didn't spend money on clothes so I could fund my first trip. I also don't have a house or children to pay for which helps. Like you say you can experience things like a local and it be really cheap. Everyone is different and have different ways of traveling. Being in Europe is great as there are many countries you can get to cheaply, unfortunately, the US is quite far away from places.

Nico, I just want to say that I really appreciate your videos! I’m moving to China in August and your videos have been an invaluable resource. There aren’t many expat vloggers who live in China, and of the ones the do exist are lot of them I’ve noticed are SUPER negative all the time. Of course it’s one thing to share your experience in a country and and your political opinions about that country, but when video after video is super negative-it’s no longer about navigating the challenges of living in China but just about complaining. Keep at it girly!! ❤️

Thank you that is so kind, I'm so happy that you have found my videos useful. It's so strange a few people have said a similar thing to me today I just don't understand why you would live in a country that you don't enjoy. One of the reasons i like your video is because you portrayed the positive side of china..i ask one you tuber,his name serpenza why you keep writing negative things about china? i commented that you could get out anytime if things were really bad for you here in china,but serpenza is a thick faced,shameless person who abuse the hospitality of your host country..i have been to other countries,everyone has its downside or unsavory part but that does not stop me from appreciating and enjoying the beauty of every country that i visited..and of course,i make it a point to be polite and respectful always...never generalize or condemn a whole country or people...in this world some are good,some are bad..parts of new york or california you can see street people..you can get mugged or pickpocketed but you will just charge it experience,becoming more careful next time..what serpenza was totally disrespectful and rascist,a shameless south african who lives and work in china for many years who shouted and advertised in you tube,practically the whole world that the china is a bad ass...what an ingrate!!! Thank you for your positivity...wish i could hook up with you someday,if you are still in china...🤗😇🤗

Thank you I'm pleased you can see I have a positive attitude. I just try to be honest and tell my feelings and mostly they are positive. Like you say not every country can be perfect but I've chosen this to be my home so I completely agree, why would you bad mouth somewhere, just leave. I've had difficulty watching some that I used to follow about life in China because their criticisms can be widely applied but they act like these things are unique to China. I recently watched one of his videos where he complained that people thought and acted the same way or desired the same things throughout the country without much variation, pinning it on China being a collectivist society. Except, I see that in the United States too? Perhaps it's less true today when people are consuming vastly different forms of media in the US and there aren't just a handful of TV channels anymore, but it's almost as though a society is going to look and feel like..a society? As for the spitting, I could live without it but I've seen it plenty living in the US South. And so much of it is clearly ingrained attitudes that solidify when people become disillusioned with their choices. Rather than accept that they made a choice that wasn't for them, they start to rely on those attitudes and lash out. China may be restrictive politically or socially alienating for a foreigner, but what about attempts in the US to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters by restrictive voting ID laws? Widespread police brutality? The dictatorship of money in politics that completely skews how millions of people decide to vote and think? It's not all roses here and China's problems aren't unique.
