Ki charging is slower underwater because “ki” literally means “air/breath”. Ki/qi is that which literally flows in and out of living things-if you’re underwater you can’t breath, you can’t take in air, the flow of ki is blocked.

@@thatguyintheconments space maps shouldn't have ever REALLY been a thing, because as far as I know, outside of the fight with Beerus, no saiyan or human has ever been in the vacuum of space alone and survived in the canon. Sure there's Bardock and a few other instances, but for the most part its part of the lore that unlike Frieza, Saiyans, like humans can't breathe in space or survive for that matter. Part of why I think there isn't a space map in SZ tbh, but just my speculation.

For any move with Semi Tracking (usually the ults) you are better off curving towards your opponents with this tech, sideways approach where you suddenly go straight at them at 1/3th to 1/4th of the distance will make their block timing get screwed

Theres also hidden features like master roshis sunglasses blocking solar flare attacks until its destroyed, the same goes with scouters on characters having different rarities to see enemies farther away! Btw, use super perception to deflect beams away and gain a buff for 3x the ki charge! Useful for androids and slower charging characters If you spam the block button when small ki blast are coming at you, you deflect them and gain gauge for skills and transformations! Dont sleep on giants! They are also able to do a lot of these combos and its amazing to pull off! THERE'S MODS IN SPARKING ZERO! ALL MAPS FOR CO-OP SPLIT SCREEN ARE HERE! I’ve also noticed people not using their skills. I play Android 19 on my team, and he has access to False courage. Which for 1 skill point will give you super armor for 15 seconds. Making my life draining energy grab safer.

Good vid! to clarify, Heavy Followups vary from 1 (Master Roshi Buff/Android 16 for example) 2 is standard 3 for SSJ3 as mentioned and other speedsters (Burter,Dyspo) 4 Max Fusions (Vegito Blue) and Sparking Mode doubles the amount of followups possible (while in some cases also adding an extra followup on top of that, making 3 followups possible with Master Roshi Buff or in Teen Gohan SSJ2's case getting 7 total followups which appears to be the highest possible)

When doing follow ups after heavy attacks or grabs be sure to mix a dash follow up in there instead of spamming triangle or Y. This helps throw peoples vanish timing off even a dash follow with a triangle so u end up behind them. Anything to change ur timing

What’s even better is the dash triangle acts as a reset since it’s not a true follow up (from my testing), so you can easily extend it

Here's one: Some characters that have a lightning attack that's a grab and slam (Broly for instance) instead of a kick and will ground bounce opponents if it's done early enough in a combo. This ground bounce leaves your opponent in recovery for the duration and they can be hit with a super or ultimate.

what I started doing after finishing off with the lightning strike, I dodge backwards to create a better angle and then I do the super rush. It catches them all the time if they don't dodge. Another thing is, if you let's say use 2 out of 3 vanishing follow ups, then do lightning strike, you can then do another vanish

Best reason I can think that ki charges slower underwater is that ki (or chi) can oftentimes be related to breathing and air Or its just harder to charge it while trying to not intake water and drown lol, I think its a neat detail

Charging ki under water is slowed down because lorewise one of the parts of ki control does have to do with your breathing and thats pretty difficult to do underwater lol

Saibaman ignore the ki recharge debuff when underwater for some reasone. And it's intentional since in the previous entires he does the same. So if you see a Saibaman player charging in the water , they arent stupid, they know what they are doing.

Thr dash heavy on cooler evolved is really good. He does a knee to go gut counting as a gut punch letting u set up. Most dash heavys though have a lot of recovery frames on miss. I usually use this move when the opponents are super aggressive, especially since cooler can tank a light without stagger from the front.

I've been playing broly in ranked and keep baiting oponents into getting my skill up, i play items enabled and additionally run laten power so the lower my HP is the higher my ultimate damage is, People do not realize brolys ult is unguardable and will just sit there trying to guard it. tho ideally you just get within a meter of your oponent and as long as the yhave 2 hp bars left its gonna probably bea kill confirm Add to this that people dont know how to properly dodge and recover and you can rush grapple them with broly triangle super then follow up instantly with square and even A ranks will just get hit by it its wild. Not to mention that most people recommend using some weird dash behind opponent then super on world tournament with ring out on to farm, when broly can just press square for an instant ring out at game start

Using a lot of triangle in your square combos will literally reduce thw damage you output so keep that in mind. Just square comobs can go up to 30k damage but triangle combos usually peak at 20

What I’ve noticed is some supers are really good after sonic sway. People like final form cooler can use death beam for a pretty good follow up (not true but very fast and hard to react). If not, U can always dash up to them and use throw as a mix up, since a lot of people like to hold guard/perception afterwards

You have to time it, meaning you need to input up and square each time you want to super counter. I read a tip somewhere that u can quarter circle from right to up and repeat, since the game only needs to read your up input, it’s easier to do that since you can input up more frequently compared to resetting your stick to neutral and hitting up again. I haven’t personally tested that method myself but I hear that’s an option. It’s a frame 1 input so it’s supposed to be difficult to land
