Thanks, I'm glad it was helpful! I developed the Risk Breakdown Structure in 2002, and it's been widely adopted since then.

Hi David. Thank you for your video. This is really helpful. I have a question: Where do we categorise the risks that arises from managing our employees? Will it be under the management heading? Thank you.
@Risk-Doctor6 ай бұрын
Hi Wisi, I'm glad you enjoyed this video. It is most common for risks arising from employee management to be categorised under the "Management" heading in the Risk Breakdown Structure (RBS). But the RBS should be constructed to represent the sources of risk that might arise for a specific business or organisation - so it is possible for you to put employee risks somewhere else. For example, if all your staff are actually self-employed as independent contractors, you might categorise employee risks under "Commercial". The point is to group risks in a way that makes sense for your business, to help you understand where risks are coming from and whether there are any concentrations that require focused attention. I hope this helps.

great experiences of all approach .can i get some book of in risk mtg around Lottery business
@Risk-Doctor2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your positive feedback. I don't know of any books specifically about managing risk in the lottery business, but the general pricinples and approach apply to any industry. I did some work in Las Vegas a few years ago at one of the major casinos, helping their managers to understand their risk exposure - but the house always wins!!

Nice video, but where I could find the Risk Categories: 1. Compliance Risk 2. Hazard Risk 3. Control Risk 4. Opportunity Risk
@Risk-Doctor3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment Edz. * Compliance Risk is usually covered under the External heading. * Hazard Risk is a special category under Health & Safety. * Control Risk is often addressed by the internal audit function, and not by risk management. * Opportunity Risk is not a spearate category, as many types of risk include both downside threat and upside opportunity. I hope this is helpful.
