First, the boy was epileptic not possessed. And why is the catholic church the only one qualified to handle possession? Here’s what happened: After the exorcist was released in theatres and scared the shit out of everyone the attendance in the church skyrocketed. I bet those collection baskets got real fat after that spike too. If they kept spinning the story and scaring everyone those bucks would keep coming in wouldn’t they? Sounds a bit more plausible doesn’t it. Ever wonder why priests drive around in Cadillacs?
